KEKI/VOROS FALL AT THE ITA ALL-AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP

TULSA, Okla. -- The doubles team of Mark Keki and Mate Voros fell in the Round of 64 at the ITA All-American Championship, held at the Michael D. Case Center at the University of Tulsa and the Case Tennis Center in LaFortune Park.

Keki/Voros, who are currently ranked 34th in the nation as a doubles team, fell to Virginia Tech's Hugo Maia and Alvaro Ariza, 5-7, 6-3 and 10-2 in the super tiebreaker. The prestigious tournament is single elimination and invites the top Div. I players from around the country.

Keki and Voros were the first Hornets to compete at the event since Marek Marksoo in 2013, and the first Sacramento State doubles team to play at the ITA All-Americans since Anton Stryhas/Kiryl Harbatsiuk in 2010.

Sacramento State, which played its first fall tournament over the weekend, returns to action when the team competes at the ITA Northwest Regionals beginning on Thursday in Berkeley.
