In the second half the Hornets led 48-46 with just under 14 minutes to play before the Eagles found a hot streak, going on a 14-2 run over the next five and a half minutes to take a game-high 60-50 advantage with 8:35 to play. Hilliard hit a three to stop the bleeding but the Eagles still led by five with three minutes left.
