SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Sacramento State women's basketball team announced that registration is now open for a pair of summer camp opportunities with the Hornets.
The first camp is open to all kids in first through sixth grades from June 22-25, giving players of all skill levels a chance to develop under the tutelage of Sacramento State coaches and student-athletes. The camp focuses on strengthening basketball fundamentals in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Athletes will have the chance to learn key skills like dribbling, passing, shooting, footwork, and defense with a focus on growth, connection, and helping every athlete improve and feel confident on the court.
Later in the month, the Hornets will hold a two-day Elite Camp on June 29-30 for players in seventh through 12th grades, designed for advanced players who have experience competing at the club or high school level.
Offering high-intensity, college-style instruction in a competitive environment, campers will have the opportunity to sharpen their skills through advanced drills, live gameplay, and position-specific training, focusing on elevating basketball IQ, building strong fundamentals under pressure, and preparing athletes for the next level of competition.
