Biography

2017 Season
A first team all-Big Sky Conference selection after starting all 36 matches and appearing in all 146 sets during the season…was a second team all-league choice as a junior…a six-rotation outside hitter, Boyle finished with averages of 3.29 kills, 3.78 digs and 3.69 points per set…the digs and points were both the second best marks on the team…ranked 10th in the Big Sky in kills per set…her total number of 481 kills were the 35th best mark in the nation while her 552 digs were the 52nd best mark…led the Big Sky with 25 double-doubles…named all-tourney at the Big Sky Tournament and the NKU Invitational…posted double figures in kills 29 times, and double digits in digs on 29 occasions as well…had better than 15 kills on 11 occasions…had a career-high 28 kills vs. Bowling Green…also posted a career-best 35 digs in a win over North Dakota, tied for the 11th best single-match mark in Sacramento State history…finished career with 1,100 kills, 1,099 digs and 53 aces…became just the 12th player at Sacramento State since 1985 to accumulate over 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in a career…among Hornet career leaders, she ranks 20th in kills, 23rd in points (1,227) and 24th in digs…named Big Sky All-Academic.

2016 Season
A second team all-Big Sky Conference selection after returning from a back injury that limited her to three sets during the Hornets’ 16 conference matches in 2015…played in all 32 matches (31 starts), including 114 of a possible 119 sets…averaged a team-high 3.49 kills per set to go along with 3.14 digs, 3.83 points and 0.36 blocks per set…her average of 11.45 attacks per set ranked as the 27th highest mark in the nation…ranked first on the team and third in the Big Sky with 19 double-doubles…a two-time all-tournament selection at the Maverick Classic and Sacramento State Invitational…recorded double figures in kills in 26 of 32 matches, and posted double digits in digs on 20 occasions…one of the team’s primary passers, Boyle’s .960 service reception success rate was the top mark on the team…that includes just 20 reception errors in 502 serves sent her way…named the Sacramento State Student-Athlete of the Week on Aug. 29…had a career-high 21 kills at UNLV…also posted a season-best 22 digs in the Big Sky Tournament semifinals against Northern Arizona…had a positive ace to service error ratio (15 aces, 11 errors)…named Big Sky All-Academic.

2015 Season
Appeared in 15 matches, including 13 starts as the Hornets’ rightside hitter…started 13 of the team’s first 15 matches of the season before a back injury limited her play the rest of the year…was limited to just three sets during the Hornets’ 16 conference matches because of the injury…averaged 1.98 kills, 2.92 digs, 0.37 blocks and 2.31 points per set…also had seven aces…posted a team-high .964 service reception percentage…had just 11 reception errors in 308 serves sent her way…posted at least eight kills in eight her 13 starts…posted double figures in kills on three occasions, including a season-high tying 12 vs. UNC Wilmington and Nevada…had double-doubles in both those matches, including 18 digs vs. UNC Wilmington.

2014 Season
Played in 25 matches, including five starts and 76 sets as a true freshman…played primarily on the right side…averaged 1.63 kills, 0.61 digs, 0.37 blocks and 1.82 points per set…had totals of 124 kills, 46 digs and 28 blocks…posted double figures in kills on three occasions, including a season-best 15 kills vs. UC Davis…also had 10 kills, four digs and season-high tying four blocks at Cal Poly…posted 10 kills and a .296 hitting percentage against Fresno State…had seven kills, five digs and two blocks in the Hornets’ road win at Portland State…added nine kills and season-best seven digs against George Washington.

High School

A 2014 graduate of Ridgefield High School in Ridgefield, Wash…played four years of volleyball, basketball and softball for the Spudders while earning 12 varsity letters…during her senior year, she was named first team all-region in all three sports by The Columbian, the only player to achieve that honor during the 2013-14 academic year…also as a senior, she was the 2A Greater St. Helens League Player of the Year after leading the Spudder volleyball squad to its second straight league championship, a district runner-up finish, and an appearance in the state tournament…had 25 kills, 21 digs and five blocks in the 2013 league championship match…was the team’s starting outside hitter during both those league championship seasons…an all-league selection in volleyball all four years, including first team each of her final three seasons (honorable mention as a freshman)…also a three-time first team all-region selection…amazingly, between volleyball, softball and basketball, she earned some form of all-league recognition 11 times, including first team accolades on eight occasions…also the recipient of first team all-region multi-sport status three years in a row (2012-14).

Personal
Parents are Frank and Beth Boyle…a kinesiology major who is on pace to graduate in the fall of 2018…played club for Excel NW Volleyball Club in Vancouver, Wash.
