Biography

2017 Season
Appeared in 35 of 36 matches, including 110 sets played…finished the season with 27 digs, including a season-best four at Northern Kentucky…season high of two aces came against Weber State…finished the season with 10 aces…for her career, she played in 104 matches and 340 sets while finishing with 23 aces and 327 digs.

2016 Season
Played in 16 matches, including 49 sets as a defensive specialist…finished the year with 24 digs, six aces and four assists…averaged 0.49 digs per set…season high for digs was five in a home win against Montana…had a career-high three aces at UTEP…had multiple digs in eight different matches.

2015 Season
Appeared in all 33 matches, including seven starts at defensive specialist…played 114 of a possible 122 sets…averaged 1.62 digs per set, and recorded double figures in digs on four occasions…had 185 digs, more than doubling her output from her freshman season…had a career-high tying 14 digs vs. Fresno State, 12 digs vs. UNC Wilmington and Northern Arizona, and 10 digs at Eastern Washington…had at least seven digs on 11 occasions.

2014 Season
Played in 20 matches, including three starts at defensive specialist…missed the final five matches of the year with injury…starts came against San Jose State, Cal Poly and Idaho…averaged 1.36 digs per set…season-high 14 digs came in a four-set win against Murray State…also had nine digs vs. both San Jose State and North Dakota, and seven digs against Southern Utah…had at least one ace in each of the final three matches she played…finished the year with 91 total digs.

High School

A 2014 graduate of Bellarmine Preparatory School in Tacoma, Wash…played four years of volleyball for the Lions…during her three seasons on the varsity squad, she helped the Lions to a combined 78-7 overall record and 26-0 league mark…that included back-to-back 4A state championships in 2012 and 2013…the team also won district and league championships all three years of her varsity career (2011-13)…the starting libero during her senior season, she was named first team all-Narrows League, first team all-area and first team all-city after helping the team to a 35-0 record, a state title, and a No. 4 ranking in the nation according to MaxPreps…that team was taken to five sets just once all season, and that came in the state championship match against Curtis High School…she finished the season with 397 digs, and an average of 4.1 per set…also had 33 aces and 504 service receptions…was an honorable mention all-Narrows League choice as a junior after the team won the state title…was named a Scholar-Athlete at graduation, and the recipient of the Sportsmanship Award at state each of her final three years.

Personal
Parents are Robert and Sally Wright…a kinesiology major who is on pace to graduate in the fall of 2018…played club for the Puget Sound Volleyball Academy, Kent Juniors Volleyball Club and the Seattle Juniors Volleyball Club.
