2017 Season
Appeared in 21 matches and 69 sets…missed nine matches with injury…finished the season with 21 assists, 16 aces and 130 digs…her average of 1.88 digs per set ranked as the fifth best mark on the Hornets…raised her average to 2.44 digs per set vs. Big Sky competition…had a .955 service reception percentage as she had just five reception errors in 110 serves sent her way…posted double figures in digs on four occasions, including a career-high 13 against UConn…also had 12 digs at UC Davis, and 11 vs. both New Hampshire and Northern Colorado…Hornets won all four matches in which she tallied double digits in digs…had multiple aces on three occasions, including a career-best three vs. Northern Colorado…finished career with totals of 58 assists, 26 aces and 195 digs.
2016 Season
Played in four matches, and appeared in four sets…missed a large chunk of the season with injury…had a season-best six assists in a win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff…had a season-high two aces vs. Cal State Northridge…finished the year with seven assists and two aces.
2015 Season
Appeared in two matches, including one start vs. UC Riverside…backed up all-conference performer Kennedy Kurtz at setter…also missed a portion of the season with injury…finished the season with four assists in two sets played.
2014 Season
Appeared in 20 matches, including three starts and 54 sets played as a true freshman…played at both defensive specialist and setter, primarily defensive specialist…averaged 1.20 digs and 0.48 assists per set…had double figures in digs each of the final two matches of the season…that included 10 digs at home vs. both Northern Arizona and Southern Utah…had a season-high six assists on two occasions…four of her eight aces came during the final four matches of the year.
High School
A 2014 graduate of Spanish Springs High School in Sparks, Nev…a four-year member of the varsity team, three-year starter, and two-time team captain, Meadows helped the Cougars to a combined overall record of 100-30, a 50-14 league record, the school’s first-ever state championship in 2012, three league titles, and the 2011 and 2013 squads advanced to the regional championship match…as a senior in 2013, she was named the High Desert League Player of the Year and a first team all-league selection after helping the Cougars to a 24-8 overall record, 13-3 in league and a conference championship…often times, Meadows would set while her rotation was the in the back row, and play outside hitter when she rotated to the front row…among team leaders in 2013, she was first in assists and aces, second in kills, and fourth in digs…in 16 league matches, she totalled 118 kills, 359 assists, 105 digs and 53 aces…the assists and aces were both the second-best marks in Spanish Springs HS single-season history…also a second team all-High Desert choice as a junior after helping the squad to a 33-6 overall record, and a conference-championship winning 15-1 league mark…her 729 career assists during league play are the second best mark in school history, and the 115 aces are the third best mark.
Personal
Parents are Pat and Stacy…a criminal justice major who is on pace to graduate in the spring of 2018…played club for the Northern Nevada Juniors in Sparks, Nev., where she was teammates with current Hornet Brigitte Murdock.
