2024 Season
Named second team all-Big Sky Conference for the second straight season…one of four Hornets to start all 33 matches, and play in all 127 sets…played primarily at rightside hitter…ranked third on the Hornets with 2.06 kills per set…also averaged 1.18 digs and 0.53 blocks per set…in Big Sky play, she averaged 2.22 kills per set while hitting .276…connected for double-figure kills in 11 matches, and 30 times during her career…was brilliant in the NCAA Tournament first round match vs. fifth-ranked Stanford, finishing with seven kills and a .636 hitting percentage (7-0-11)…hit better than .300 in a match on 13 occasions…finished Sacramento State career with 771 kills, 432 digs, 171 blocks and 76 aces…a Big Sky all-academic selection for the fourth straight season.
2023 Season
A second team all-Big Sky Conference selection…played in all 34 matches, including 23 starts…played both outside and rightside hitter during the season…started the final 12 matches of the season at outside hitter…averaged 2.66 kills, 1.22 digs, 0.35 blocks and 3.03 points per set…in conference play, she bumped her average to 2.80 kills per set, the second best mark on the team…registered double figures in kills on 17 occasions, after entering the season with just two double digit kill matches…had 19 kills in just three sets at Northern Colorado…that marked the second most kills by any Big Sky player in a three-set match during conference play…career-high 21 kills at Portland State…registered double-figure kills in five of the final seven matches of the season…that included the Big Sky Tournament semifinals, and both of the Hornets’ matches at the NIVC…a Big Sky all-academic selection for the third straight year.
2022 Season
Played in all but one match, including 16 starts and 93 sets played…finished with averages of 1.34 kills, 1.23 digs and 0.40 blocks per set…started each of the final eight, and nine of the last 10 matches of the season…posted double figures in kills twice, including a season-best 14 kills at San Diego State…also had 11 kills on the road at Idaho State…in that four-set win at Idaho State, she combined for 10 kills and a .533 hitting percentage over the final two sets…posted at least four blocks on six occasions…had eight kills, six digs and a season-best .467 hitting percentage in a win at Eastern Washington…a Big Sky all-academic selection.
2021 Season
Played in 17 matches, including one start, as a true freshman…played at rightside hitter…averaged 1.21 kills and 0.53 blocks per set…had eight kills and a .400 hitting percentage vs. Florida…duplicated those numbers in a season-opening win against UC Davis…season-high five blocks vs. San Francisco…had four kills, a .500 hitting percentage and three blocks vs. Saint Mary’s…had five kills and three blocks in her start at San Jose State…a Big Sky all-academic selection.
High School
A 2021 graduate of Mercy High School in Farmington Hills, Mich…played four years of varsity volleyball for the Marlins, primarily at middle blocker…helped the team to a 165-13 overall record and 33-0 mark in the Catholic League during her four seasons…that includes a state championship in 2019, three regional titles, four district championships and three conference tournament crowns…the team was also a state semifinalist during the 2017 and 2018 seasons…Tisko had 14 kills in the 2019 state championship match…named Div. I second team all-state, first team all-region and first team all-league as a senior…also, as a junior, she was a Div. I third team all-state, first team all-region and first team all-league choice…over her final two seasons at Mercy, she averaged 2.68 kills per set to go along with a .437 hitting percentage…a National Honors Society Scholar-Athlete in 2018, 2019 and 2020…four-year varsity player on the volleyball, basketball and soccer teams at Mercy High School…was named all-league in all three sports.
Personal
Parents are Lori and Tom Tisko…a health sciences major who graduated in the fall of 2024…played four years for the Michigan Elite Volleyball Academy…in club, she played outside hitter, rightside hitter, middle blocker and defensive specialist…father, Tom, played football at Michigan Tech.
