2012 Season
Appeared in 16 matches, including 11 sets, in her lone season with the Hornets…averaged 0.56 kills and 0.88 blocks per set while hitting .217…posted at least two kills on four occasions, including a season-best three kills in a win over Jacksonville…also hit a season-best .500 (3-0-6) with two blocks against Jacksonville…had at least two blocks on five occasions…posted two kills, a .400 hitting percentage (2-0-5) and season-high three blocks against Saint Mary’s…her .217 hitting percentage was tied for the fourth best mark on the team.

Prior to Sacramento State

Played volleyball at Simpson University in Redding, Calif. (2010), Cosumnes River College (2009) and American River College (2008)…at Simpson, she was a first team all-conference selection after averaging 2.31 kills, 0.38 digs and 0.56 blocks per set while hitting .248…helped lead the team to its first-ever appearance in the California Pacific Conference championship game…among conference leaders, she ranked fourth in both kills and blocks…at American River College, she was a second team all-league selection and was named the team’s best offensive player.

High School

A 2008 graduate of Elk Grove’s Laguna Creek High School…played three years of varsity volleyball…was a three-time scholar-athlete for the Cardinals…some of her other honors included receiving the coaches’ award, and best offensive player award.

Personal
Parents are Michael and Celeste Coleman…a biology major…played volleyball for the Force Volleyball Club…in the summer of 2011, she was invited by the USA Athletes International to play on an all-star team on the island of Aruba.
