2023 Season
A second team all-Big Sky Conference selection after starting all 34 matches at libero…played in all 130 sets…now a two-time all-Big Sky performer, as she was named to the second team in the spring of 2021…finished the season with 4.10 digs per set, the third best mark in the Big Sky…her 533 digs ranked 37th in the nation…posted double figures in digs in 30 of the team’s 34 matches, and finished career with 83 matches in double-digit digs…named to the Sacramento State Invitational all-tournament team…had 20-plus digs on six occasions…averaged 4.17 digs per set in Big Sky matches…had at least 17 digs on 18 occasions…finished career with 1,601 digs, and an average of 3.76 digs per set…became just the 11th Hornet to reach the 1,500 dig milestone, and her 1,601 digs rank seventh in program history…the 3.76 digs per set average is tied for seventh in program history…played in 117 career matches, and 426 sets…a Big Sky all-academic selection for the fourth straight year.

2022 Season
Played in 28 matches, including 112 sets…missed two matches with injury…started 25 of those 28 matches at libero…her average of 3.19 digs per set ranked sixth in the Big Sky…raised that mark to 4.70 digs per set in league play, the third best mark in the conference…also averaged 0.32 aces pet set in conference play…registered double figures in digs 24 times…in a road win at Northern Arizona, she posted a school-record 43 digs…that broke the previous program record of 42, set by Jill Haas in 1995…went for 20+ digs on five occasions…registered double figures in digs in 14 straight matches from Sept. 16-Nov. 5…named Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 3…a Big Sky all-academic selection for the third straight year.

2021 Season
Played in 24 matches, including 85 sets…after beginning the year as a defensive specialist, Cordano started all but two of the Big Sky matches she appeared at libero…finished the season with 3.39 digs and 0.75 assists per set while also posting a .951 reception percentage…committed just 20 errors in 407 serves sent her way…raised her numbers in Big Sky play to 4.27 digs per set, which ranked as the fourth best mark in the league…named Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week on Nov. 1…posted double figures in digs on 15 occasions, including 20-plus digs five times…during a four-match stretch from Oct. 28-Nov. 6, Cordano had more than 20 digs three times…had 64 assists, including 19 over the final three matches of the year…named Big Sky all-academic.

2021 Spring Season

Named second team all-Big Sky Conference…moved into the starting libero role in the third match of the season…could have easily been named the Big Sky Libero of the Year after leading the conference with 5.16 digs per set…that average also ranked 34th in the nation…first Hornet libero to receive all-league accolades since Lexie Skalbeck in 2016…also had 13 aces and 53 assists…registered at least 19 digs in each of the last nine matches of the season…posted double figures in digs 14 times, which included 20+ digs on eight occasions, and 30+ digs on two occasions…had 35 digs at Weber State on Feb. 27, tied for the 11th best mark in Sacramento State’s Div. I era (1991-pres.)…also had 31 digs at Weber State on Feb. 26…of her eight matches with 20+ digs, six lasted just four sets…named Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week on two occasions…a Big Sky all-academic selection.

2019 Season

Played in 14 matches, including 36 sets at defensive specialist…finished the year with 17 digs…six of those digs came in the Big Sky Tournament quarterfinals vs. Montana State…also had three digs vs. both Bradley and Murray State.

High School

A 2019 graduate of Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento…played four years of volleyball and two seasons of lacrosse for the Falcons…in volleyball, she played her final three seasons on the varsity team…helped Christian Brothers to a Capital Athletic League championship each of her three years with the varsity team…was a first team all-league selection and the team captain during her final two seasons…named the league’s MVP as a junior…selected to play in the 2018 All-Star Optimist game after averaging 4.5 digs per set to go with 478 digs and 46 aces as a senior…helped the team to a Sac-Joaquin Section championship in 2016, and semifinal appearances in 2017 and 2018…the team reached the state championship in all three of those seasons, including a regional semifinal appearance in 2018…a four-year Scholar-Athlete Award winner and four-year member of the National Honor Society.

Personal
Daughter of James and Nancy Cordano…graduated Cum Laude in the spring of 2023 with a business degree…currently working towards a second bachelor's degree in communication studies…played six years for Five Starz Volleyball Club in Davis, Calif…played at the club for former Sacramento State head coach Debby Colberg…on that team, she played with Hornet teammate Tiyanane Kamba-Griffin.
