Biography
JUNIOR (2022): Appeared in 13 of the team’s 18 matches, making four starts… Played a season-high 81 minutes at Nevada on Sept. 4.
SOPHOMORE (2021): Played in eight of Sacramento State's 19 matches, starting five of them, before a season-ending injury on Sept. 19 at Fresno State... Attempted one shot, placing it on goal, but did not score... Started back-to-back matches twice, first to start the year on Aug. 19 at Saint Mary's and on Aug. 21 against CSU Bakersfield, and again on Aug. 29 at Cal Poly and and Sept. 5 vs. Nevada... Played double-digit minutes in all of her matches, including a season-high 82 at UC Santa Barbara on Aug. 27... Averaged 57 minutes per match and played 456 minutes total.
FRESHMAN (SPRING 2021): Played in nine of Sacramento State's 11 matches in her debut season, starting seven of them... Soon's seven starts were most among newcomers in 2020-21's pandemic delayed season... Helped anchor a backline that allowed just under one goal per match (0.98)... Helped her team in allowing one goal or fewer in six of her nine matches, including two shutouts... Played at least 78 minutes in all nine of her matches while playing 90 or more seven times... Played a season-high 110 minutes twice in back-to-back matches at home against Eastern Washington... Totaled 853 minutes, averaging 95 per match... Was named the team's Newcomer of the Year.
'IOLANI HS
Played four seasons for the Raiders under head coach Kristin Masunaga... Spent her time at both the center defender and holding midfielder positions... Helped lead her team to back-to-back state championships in 2016-17 and 2017-18... Was the starting center mid in 2016-17 and starting center defender for the 2017-18 squad... Was named first team all-league and honorable mention all-state in 2018... Earned a second-team all-league selection and a third-team all-state selection in 2019.
CLUB
Played eight years for Hawaii Surf Club and spent most of that time as the starting center defender... Was team captain for the Club 2 Team and a 2017 and 2019 Runner Up in the Hawaii Women's League.
PERSONAL
Career goal to work with high-school, college, or professional athletes to overcome and return from injury... Attended 'Iolani HS, high school of former Hornet Kylee Kim-Bustillos.
