Biography

SENIOR (2023): Appeared in five matches between the pipes, making three starts… Finished the year with a 1-0-2 record in net, posting a 1.10 goals against average and 15 saves to go along with a shutout… Made her first two appearances in relief against UC Davis (Aug. 20) and at Saint Mary’s (Sept. 14)… Her first start of the season came at home against California Baptist (Sept. 17), making three saves as part of a 1-1 draw… Earned her first win of the season against defending conference champion Northern Arizona (Sept. 22), stopping a season-high eight shots to earn a 1-0 shutout… Also earned a draw at Northern Colorado (Sept. 24).

JUNIOR (2022): Started all 18 matches and played every minute in net for the Hornets… Finished with a 1.65 goals against average and 94 saves on the season, adding a .758 save percentage and three shutouts… Ranked seventh in the Big Sky in goals against average and saves, while leading the league in overall saves and second in saves per game (5.22)... Stopped a career-high 15 saves in the regular season opener against nationally ranked Stanford on Aug. 18 — a total that ranks second on the school’s single-match list… Added 11 stops against nationally ranked Washington on Sept. 15, and stopped 11 more shots at Northern Arizona on Oct. 21 in the regular season finale… Finished with three consecutive shutouts against Northern Colorado on Sept. 25, at Portland State on Oct. 2, and against Weber State on Oct. 7.

SOPHOMORE (2021): Appeared in 10 games in her debut season with Sacramento State, starting all 10... Was 4-6-0 in her 10 matches... Made her Sacramento State debut in the team's season opener at Saint Mary's on Aug. 19... Went back-and-forth with senior Katie Price as the team's starting keeper before assuming the job full time on Oct. 8 against Idaho... Started nine straight matches to end the season... Finished with a 1.88 goals against average and a .743 save percentage... Made 55 saves in 10 matches... Averaged 5.5 saves per match... Allowed 19 goals in just over 907 minutes of play... Made a career-high 11 saves in her Hornets debut at Saint Mary's on Aug. 19... Made five or more saves in seven of her 10 matches... Allowed one goal or fewer in four matches... Recorded a pair of shutouts, her first on Oct, 17 at Idaho State, a 1-0 Hornets win, and her second on Nov. 3 in the first round of the Big Sky Tournament in a 1-0 win over Northern Arizona... Played a season-high 102 minutes on Oct. 22 against Northern Arizona... Averaged 90.7 minutes per match and played 907 minutes total.

FRESHMAN (2020): 
Played one season at the UNLV under head coach Jenny Ruiz.

EASTLAKE HS
Played four years varsity for the Titans in Chula Vista, Calif., under Coach Cozihar... In four seasons, was a three time all-academic selection (2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20), an all-league first team selection as a junior (2018-19), named Team Captain as a senior (2019-20), a two-time San Diego Union Tribune Top 25 Player (2018-19, 2019-20), and a San Diego Union Tribune Player to Watch (2019-20)... Helped lead the Titans to four straight conference championships (2016-20), a CIF Division I Championship (2016-17), a CIF Open Division Championship (2017-18), and CIF Division I finals appearance in back-to-back years (2018-19, 2019-20).

CLUB
Played one season for the ECNL Rebels SC in Bonita, Calif. under head coach Ryan Marquez.

PERSONAL
Parents are Zachary and Aliza Shalit... Father, Zach, played rugby at Sacramento State and mother, Aliza, played one year of volleyball at Cal Poly Pomona... Strong international experience as a member of the Peru National Team program since 2015, serving as the starting keeper for the U17 team in 2017 and 2018 and most recently earning the starting goalkeeper position for the U20 team in 2020... Spent the summer of 2022 training with the full women's national team and made the roster for the 2022 CONMEBOL Women's Copa America Tournament in Columbia... Majoring in economics with plans to go into business school after a career playing soccer... Has a passion for learning new languages, reading, and playing the piano.
