SENIOR (2024): One of four players to start all 21 matches for the Hornets along with teammates Izzy Palmatier, Madelyn Dougherty, and Cassandra Herrman… Led the team in scoring with four goals, three assists, and 11 points on the season… Two of those goals and two of those assists came during Big Sky Conference play… Finished tied for fourth in the Big Sky in total shots (48) and ranked sixth in shots per game (2.29)… Also stood tied for eighth in total points, tied for 10th in goals scored, and tied for seventh in assists… Finished with goals against CSUN (9/12), Cal State Bakersfield (9/15), Idaho State (10/4), and Northern Colorado (10/13), with her score against the Matadors going for the game-winner… Finished with at least one shot in all but two of the team’s 21 matches, including a season-high six against CSUN… Placed a season-high three shots on goal against the Roadrunners… Played all 110 minutes against Northern Arizona (11/6) and Idaho (11/10) in the Big Sky Conference Tournament, while competing in 103 minutes against Montana (11/8) in the semifinals… Also finished with an assist against Houston Christian (8/17) and a pair of helpers against Weber State (10/6)... Finished with a point in three straight matches from Oct. 4-13... Her 1,705 minutes ranked fourth among field players.
JUNIOR (2023): Started 16 of the team’s 18 matches… Led the team with four goals and eight points on the season… Scored single goals in matches against CSU Bakersfield (Aug. 17), Pacific (Sept. 10), and in back-to-back matches against Northern Arizona (Sept. 22) and Northern Colorado (Sept. 24)… Her goal — on a penalty — against the Lumberjacks was the game-winner, while the goal against the Bears tied the match in the final minute… Two of her goals came on penalties with the first helping forge a 1-1 draw against the Roadrunners in the season opener… Attempted a team-high 41 shots, putting 13 on frame… Finished with a season-high seven shots at Northern Colorado, putting three on goal… Played a full 90 minutes four times.
SOPHOMORE (2022): Finished second on the team in scoring with three goals — two of those from the penalty spot — and two assists for eight points… Attempted a team-high 28 shots, putting 10 of those on frame… Scored both of her team’s goals at Pacific on Aug. 21 and followed that with a goal in a 1-1 draw against UC Santa Barbara on Aug. 25… Added assists against Northern Colorado on Sept. 25 and Weber State on Oct. 7… Finished with a season-high four shot attempts at Eastern Washington on Oct. 14.
FRESHMAN (2021): Played in all 19 of Sacramento State's games during her debut season with the program, one of seven players to reach that mark... Started 11 of those 19 matches... Made her Sacramento State debut as a substitution on Aug. 19 at Saint Mary's... Made her first career start on Aug. 21 at home against CSU Bakersfield... Made an immediate impact on the program and the Big Sky... Led Sacramento State with 10 total points... Tied for team lead with four goals while adding two assists... Scored her first career goal on Aug. 21 against CSU Bakersfield, a crucial goal in an eventual 1-1 draw at home... Also scored in Sacramento State's 3-0 win over Nevada on Sept. 5 and in the team's loss at Portland State on Sept. 26... Her last goal of the season was also her first career game-winner as Lopez found the back of the net in the 87th minute of a 1-0 win at Idaho State... Had her first assist on Sept. 5 against Nevada, giving her a career-best three-point match against the Wolf Pack... Also added an assist in the team's 4-2 win against Eastern Washington on Oct. 10... Attempted 17 total shots, fourth most on the team, and placed 10 of them on goal... Her .588 shot on goal percentage was best among players with 15 or more shots and second among players with 10 or more shots... Her 10 points led the team... Played double-digit minutes in all 19 of her matches, including a season-high 97 in the Aug. 21 draw against Bakersfield... Averaged 59 minutes per match and played 1,118 total minutes.
PLEASANT GROVE HS
Played three years of varsity soccer for the Eagles under head coach Kevin Slagle... Members of the Delta League... Played exclusively attacking mid for the Eagles... Was team captain all four years, first for the freshman squad and then three consecutive seasons for varsity... Was one of five sophomores to play varsity... Was named a Delta League second team all-league midfielder... Totaled 24 goals and 18 assists in three seasons
CLUB
Spent six years (2016-21) training and competing for the Blackhawks Soccer Club in Elk Grove, Calif., under head coach Cesar Plasencia... Played exclusively as an attacking mid for the Blackhawks... Has been named her team's captain each year since 2016... In 2018 and 2019, helped lead the Blackhawks to 1st place in the Fall Nor Cal League.
PERSONAL
Parents are Epifania and Eduardo Lopez...Planned major is Kinesiology... After receiving her degree, wants to become a sports medicine doctor or a physical therapist... Is the first person in her family to receive an athletic scholarship to play collegiately.
