FRESHMAN (2023-24): Started all 31 games for the Hornets… Averaged a team-high 14.0 points and 8.8 rebounds per game, shooting .433 from the field, .342 from beyond the arc, and .822 from the line… Set school freshman Division I era records for games started, minutes (1,071), field goals made (161), field goal attempts (372), points (434), scoring average, defensive rebounds (198), rebounds (273), and rebounding average… Ranked No. 35 in the NCAA in double-doubles (14), No. 68 in total rebounds, and No. 63 in rebounds per game… Ranked second among qualifying NCAA freshmen in double-doubles, No. 18 in scoring average, second in total rebounds (273), second in rebounding average, ninth in field goal percentage, and seventh in minutes per game… Her 14 double-doubles led the Big Sky, were tied for fifth in a single season in the program’s Division I era, and tied for fifth on the career list… Ranked tied for fourth in the Big Sky in scoring, sixth in total points, second in rebounding, fourth in field goal percentage, seventh in field goals made, fifth in blocked shots, fourth in offensive rebounding, second in defensive rebounding, and fifth in minutes per game… Finished with double-digit points in 24 of the team’s 31 games, including each of the final 12 games of the year… Scored eight points and grabbed six rebounds in her collegiate debut at Washington (11/6), then posted double-doubles in each of her next three games, including a 22-point night at Nevada (11/9)… Scored 20-or-more points five times… Scored a career-high 28 points at Weber State (1/11) to go with 10 rebounds… Added 23 points at Idaho (2/5), 21 points against Montana (2/22), and 20 points against CSUN (12/2)… Grabbed a season-high 16 rebounds at Fresno State (12/16) — one of 14 double-digit rebounding performances on the year… Made a season-high 10-for-17 from the field at Weber State (1/11)… Shot 50 percent or better from the floor 11 times… Made a season-high four three-pointers twice against Nevada and San Diego State (11/18)… Blocked a season-high four shots against Eastern Washington (12/30) and added a season-high four steals… Also had four steals against Montana State (2/24).
PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE
Scholarship holder at the Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence (CoE) based at the AIS in Canberra, Australia... Won the 2022 FIBA U17 Women’s Asian Championships in India with the Australian U19 Gems team... Won the FIBA U16 Asian Championship in Jordan in 2022 with the U16 Sapphires team... Competed for Australia at the FIBA U17 World Championships in Hungary in 2022 with the U16 Sapphires team... One of 10 players selected for the Asia Pacific Girls Team at the 2019 Junior NBA Global Championship... Won the bronze medal at the U16 Queensland State Championships in 2020 and added a bronze at the U18 Queensland State Championships in 2022.
PERSONAL
Parents are Bo Hanson and Liz Masen... Has a sister, Alleah... Her father became Australia's youngest rower to compete in the Olympic Games in 1992 at the age of 18 in Barcelona... He went on to win bronze medals in 1996 (Atlanta), 2000 (Sydney), and 2004 (Athens)... Not many people know that she grew up living on a boat (but now they do)... Lists her sports heroes as Lauren Jackson and Michael Jordan.
