Biography

JUNIOR (2018-19): Played in 22 of Sacramento State's 29 games and made one start...Averaged 2.1 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 7.5 minutes per game...Scored a season-high 11 points in the Hornets' regular season finale on March 9 at Montana...Was 5-for-8 from the floor and 1-for-2 from the line in that game...Scored five or more points five times, including three of her first four games...Made just two three-pointers all season, the second coming in Sacramento State's First Round conference tournament game against Northern Arizona...Pulled in a total of 33 rebounds in her 22 games, including a single-game high of four, a mark she reached three times over the course of the season...Her lone start came in Dec. 7 at home against UC Davis...Played a season-high 20 minutes against Montana on March 9, her 11-point performance...Played double-digit minutes in seven games for the Hornets, including in each of her first four and five of the first six.

PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE: Played two seasons for the Northwest College Trappers in Powell, Wyoming under head coach Janis Beal...was a two-year starter for the Trappers at center...her freshman season (2016-17), was named to the Region IX Academic All-Region team as well as the Region IX All-Tournament Team...in her sophomore season (2017-18), was named the Northwest College Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year as well as the All-Region Team...a native of Brazil, da Silva Sa also played four seasons for the Sao Paulo Bradesco under head coach Cristiano Cedra...was named the Best Post Player in the Brazilian DIII Tournament in 2014.
