2024-25 Season
• Played in 24 games, including 19 starts
• Missed eight games to injury, including seven of the last eight games of the season
• Hornets’ second leading scorer at 10.9 ppg. Also averaged 2.8 rebounds and 0.8 steals
• Shot 40% from the field, 35% from the 3-point line, and 78% from the free throw line
• Was playing his best basketball of the season before his injury, scoring in double figures in eight of his final 11 games of the season
• In his final game before injury, he had 19 points (7-12 FG, 3-5 3FG) in 36 minutes at Idaho
• Buried at least three 3-pointers on eight occasions
• That included a career-high 21 points (4-7 3FG) and seven rebounds in a home win vs. Idaho State
• Raised his scoring average to 11.8 points per game in Big Sky play, the second best mark on the team

Prior to Sacramento State
• Played collegiately at the University of Alberta (2022-23) and City College of San Francisco (2021-22)
• During the 2022-23 season at Alberta (members of the Canada West Conference), Vaughns helped the team to a 15-5 record
• Vaughns played in all 20 games for Alberta, averaging 13.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists on 47% shooting (91-193) from the field and 43% (40-93) from the 3-point line
• As a freshman, he helped City College of San Francisco to a 2022 California Community College state championship and 32-1 record
• That season, he averaged 7.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists while shooting 42% (35-84) from the 3-point line
• During his two active seasons of college ball, he shot 42% (75-177) from the 3-point line
• Redshirted at Chico State in 2019-20, and did not play in 2020-21 because of the pandemic

High School
• A 2019 graduate of Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School, he played two seasons for the Pilots (2017-19), after spending his first two years playing at Saint Mary’s High School (2015-17)
• Helped Saint Joseph Notre Dame to back-to-back league championships and a combined 42-19 overall record. That included a semifinal appearance at the 2019 state championships
• A two-time first team all-league selection, and three-time team captain
• Averaged 18.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per game as a senior, earning third team all-Bay Area News Group and fourth team San Francisco Chronicle all-Metro honors
