SOPHOMORE (2021-22): Big Sky All-Academic (2x)... Appeared in 19 games, making 17 starts for the Hornets and averaging 23.5 minutes per game... Averaged 4.4 points and 1.7 rebounds per game, while dishing out 12 assists and swiping eight steals... Shot 40 percent from the field and just over 41 percent from beyond the arc... Finished in double figures three times, scoring 12 points each on a quartet of three-pointers in games against Illinois State (Nov. 27), UC Irvine (Nov. 28), and Montana State (Dec. 4)... Grabbed a season-high six rebounds against San Jose State (Nov. 14) in the second game of the season, adding a season-best three assists in that contest... Played in all 40 minutes of a game twice against San Jose State (Nov. 14) and at CSU Bakersfield (Dec. 8).

FRESHMAN (2020-21): Big Sky All-Academic... Played in all 25 of Sacramento State's 2020-21 games, making two starts... Appeared in her first collegiate game for the Hornets on Dec. 4 at Idaho... Made her first career start less than two weeks later at home against Nevada on Dec. 13... Averaged 4.0 points, 1.4 rebouunds, and 16.7 minutes per game... Scored a season-high 17 points against San Francisco on Dec. 22, going 6-for-8 from the floor, including an impressive 4-for-5 from three-point range... The six made field goals and four made threes are both career-bests for Rios... Scored in double-digits just one other time, a 13-point game against Nevada on Dec. 12... Collected a season-high four rebouunds that same game... Had two or more rebouunds in 13 of her 25 games... Averaged 16.7 minutes, most among newcomers in 2020-21... Played a season-high 34 minutes on Dec. 12 against Nevada... Saw double-digit minutes in 18 of her 25 games and 20 or more minutes in seven. 

CENTENNIAL HS: Played four years of varsity for the Centennial HS Hawks under head coach Louie Laborin, primarily as a shooting guard... As a senior (2019-20), was the District 3-5A MVP, New Mexico High School Coaches Association (NMHSCA) 2nd Team All-State, and a NMHSCA South All-Star... Is her school's all-time points leader (1,170) and also holds the record for most assists in a game (12) and most points in a season (481)... In addition to basketball, was an exceptionally accomplished cross country and track athlete.

PERSONAL: Parents are Dax and Susana Rios... Younger brother is Dax... Majoring in chemistry with a minor in biochemsitry.
