Sacramento State

2025 Season
• Named Big Sky Conference Libero of the Year.
• Started 27 of the team’s 30 matches at libero.
• Became the fourth Hornet to be named Big Sky Libero of the Year, and first since 2016.
• One of the steadiest liberos in the Big Sky, Ampi anchored the Hornets’ serve-receive and ranked third in the Big Sky with 4.34 digs per set.
• Despite missing three matches to injury, she has posted double-figure digs on 24 occasions, including 20-plus digs eight times.
• Had 20-plus digs in both matches of the Big Sky Tournament.
• Went over 30 digs twice, including 31 at Utah Tech, and 31 at home vs. Northern Colorado.
• Named Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week twice (Sept. 8, Nov. 17).
• Had a .943 serve receive percentage, and was aced just 27 times in 477 serves sent her way.
• Averaged 4.29 digs per set in conference play.
• Has 797 career digs in just two seasons at Sacramento State.

2024 Season
• Played in all 33 matches, and all but one set during her first season with the Hornets.
• Was one of two liberos the Hornets employed for the majority of the season.
• Began the year as the team’s libero on defense, and towards the end of the season, became the team’s full-time libero.
• Finished with averages of 2.85 digs, 0.75 assists and 0.30 aces per set.
• Had 17 matches with double figures in digs, including a season-best 24 vs. Weber State.
• Named Big Sky all-tournament after averaging 4.33 digs per set over three matches.
• Had 52 digs during the conference tourney, including 22 in the championship win over Northern Colorado. Also had a season-best eight assists in that match.
• Had double figures in digs in seven of the final nine matches of the season.
• Posted a season-best three aces on four occasions.

Prior to Sacramento State
• Played her freshman season (2023) at American River College in Sacramento.
• Named first team all-region, first team all-Big 8 Conference, and all-state tournament.
• Starting libero for a Beavers squad that went 24-7 overall, 14-2 in league, won the NorCal Region championship and advanced to the state tournament.
• Led the team in both digs (4.09 dps) and aces (0.47 aps).
• The digs ranked third in the Big 8 Conference, and the aces were sixth.

High School
• A 2023 graduate of University Prep High School in Redding, Calif.
• Played all four seasons for the Panthers at libero.
• A two-time all-Northern League selection.
• During her final two seasons, she helped the team to a 2021 state championship, two section titles, two conference championships, an 81-9 overall record, and 20-0 league mark.

Personal
• Daughter of Nicole and A.J. Ampi.
• A kinesiology major.
• Father, A.J., was a pitcher at Santa Clara from 1998-2002.
• Sister, Ryanne, currently plays soccer at Eastern Washington.
