Biography

2025 Season
• Named the Big Sky Conference Setter of the Year.
• Becomes first Hornet to be named Big Sky Setter of the Year.
• Also a first team all-Big Sky selection.
• Started all 30 matches, and played in all 113 sets.
• Team tri-captain.
• Orchestrated one of the Big Sky’s most dynamic offenses as the Hornets ranked first (league play) in the conference in points (17.62 pps) and hitting percentage (.265).
• That .265 was 38 percentage points better than the next closest team (NAU - .227).
• Averaged 9.19 assists, 0.39 aces, 2.35 digs and 0.57 blocks per set.
• In conference play, Doorn ranked first in the Big Sky in aces (0.48 per set), and second in assists (10.13 per set).
• Posted 12 double-doubles (assists, digs) during the season, and 30 over her career.
• Had double-doubles in four of her final six matches of the season.
• Her 2,576 assists in a Sacramento State uniform are 10th in program history.
• Finished collegiate career with 3,093 assists.
• Three-year starting setter for the Hornets.

2024 Season
• One of four Hornets to start all 33 matches.
• Also played in all 127 sets.
• Helped quarterback a Sacramento State offense that finished first in the Big Sky in assists (12.13 per set), second in kills (13.23 per set) and third in hitting percentage (.232).
• Ran a 6-2 offense with fellow setter Hailey Plugge.
• Finished season with averages of 6.57 assists, 0.35 aces and 1.91 digs per set.
• Raised those numbers to 7.14 assists and 2.19 digs per set in Big Sky play.
• Had seven double-doubles (assists, digs), and three matches with at least four aces.
• In a four-set home win over Eastern Washington, she had a season-best 41 assists and career-high six aces.
• In three Big Sky Tournament matches, Doorn had 11 aces, finishing with 6.33 assists, 1.92 digs and 0.92 aces per set.
• Big Sky all-academic selection for the second straight year.

2023 Season
• Played in all 34 matches, and all 130 sets.
• Started the final 19 matches of the season.
• Ran a 6-2 offense with fellow setter Hailey Plugge during the entire season.
• Helped quarterback the Big Sky’s top offense - the Hornets averaged 13.35 kills per set with a .243 hitting percentage overall, and 14.18 kills per set and a .268 hitting percentage in conference play.
• Averaged 5.42 assists, 1.78 digs and 0.24 aces per set.
• In Big Sky play, she averaged 6.28 assists per set, the seventh best mark in the conference.
• Ranked second on the team with nine double-doubles.
• Had double-figure digs on nine occasions, including a career-high tying 16 in the NIVC second round matchup against Montana State.
• Had a season-high 31 assists on a pair of occasions.
• A Big Sky all-academic selection.

Prior to Sacramento State
• Spent her freshman season (2022) at Idaho of the Big Sky Conference.
• Was one of two setters for a Vandal squad that primarily ran a 6-2 offense.
• Played in both matches against Sacramento State that season.
• Had 34 assists, eight digs and two blocks against the Hornets on Sept. 22 in Moscow, and 11 assists and five digs in the Nest on Nov. 12.
• Named Big Sky Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 19 after combining for 108 assists and leading the Vandals to three wins.
• Finished season with averages of 5.05 assists and 1.16 digs per set.
• Posted season highs in assists (47) and digs (13) in a home match vs. Northern Arizona.
• Also had a double-double (33 assists, 10 digs) at Idaho State.

High School
• A 2022 graduate of Summit High School in Bend, Ore.
• Played four years of varsity volleyball for the Storm.
• A three-time all-conference selection, including first team all-state and all-league as a junior.
• Second team all-conference as a senior despite missing time due to injury. Honorable mention all-league as a sophomore.
• Prep Dig ranked her as the fourth best recruit in the state of Oregon in 2022.
• Had a 4.23 grade point average in high school.

Personal
• Played club volleyball for North Pacific Juniors of Bend, Ore.
• Played for that program with current Hornet outside hitter Greta Davis.
• A business major who will graduate from Sacramento State in the spring of 2026.
