Biography

SENIOR (2021): Big West All-Academic…started all 18 matches in goal…served as team captain…Hornets were unbeaten in eight of those matches…starts, minutes (3,673) and goals against average (1.59) were career bests…made 74 saves…had at least three saves in 17 of the team’s 18 matches, including a season-best seven  in a 2-0 road win at Pacific…allowed two goals or fewer on 15 occasions…played every minute in 15 of his 18 matches…a Big West all-academic selection for the second time…despite playing just three seasons, he finished with the fifth most career wins (13) in program history…also sits just outside the top five in saves (182) and save percentage (.734).

(2020): Season canceled due to COVID-19. 

SOPHOMORE (2019): Big West All-Academic...Played in 13 of the team's 18 matches, starting 12 in goal...Finished with a 5-5-1 overall record...Was the keeper of record in both of Sacramento State's two shutouts in 2019, playing a full 90 minutes in a 2-0 win at San Jose State and a 2-0 win at home against #25 Air Force...Posted a 1.58 goals against average, allowing 20 total goals in 13 games...Had a career-high .753 save percentage, making 60 total saves...Made a career-high 10 saves in Sacramento State's 2-0 shutout win at San Jose State, passing his previous career-high of eight (Oct. 6 and Oct. 10, 2018)...Made five or more saves in seven of his 13 matches...Allowed one goal or fewer in nine of his 13 matches...Played just three matches in Big West competition, but posted a strong 0.98 goals against average with a .744 save percentage...Was 1-2 in his three league matches, allowing three goals and making 11 saves...Played every minute in 11 of his 13 matches and a season-high 110 minutes in a 1-1 draw against Pacific...Played a career-high 1135:56 minutes overall.

FRESHMAN (2018): Played in 11 of the team's 17 games, making 10 starts in goal as a true freshman...Assumed the starting goalkeeper position midway through the season, starting each of the team's final nine matches...Went 4-6-0 overall...Recorded one of the team's two shutouts, a 1-0 win at home over UC Santa Barbara on Oct. 3...Posted a 1.72 goals against average...Had a .723 save percentage and made 47 total saves...Allowed 18 total goals in his 11 games...Allowed one goal or fewer in five games...Was even better in Big West play, posting a 1.43 goals against average with a .783 save percentage...Made a season-high eight saves in back-to-back matches, Oct. 6 at UC Irvine and Oct. 10 vs. CSUN...Played every minute of nine of his 10 matches, including a season-high 94 in a 3-2 overtime win at San Francisco...Totaled 942:34 minutes played. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played two years for coach Matt Doyle at James C Enochs High School...played both goalkeeper and centerback for the Eagles during his two seasons...won the 2016 men's soccer Leadership Award...also played two years club soccer for Mountain View Los Altos (MVLA)...made three penalty kick saves in a State Cup game...was a four-year football player in high school, playing kicker, safety, and wide receiver...was the 2017 Football Utility Man of the Year.
