• Big West Conference All-Academic Team (2022, 2023, 2024)
SENIOR (2024): Started all 18 matches for the Hornets in net… Finished with six victories and 81 saves (.717 save percentage) in 1,529 minutes… Led the Big West Conference in total saves and saves per game (4.50), while standing third in save percentage… Finished No. 11 in the nation in total saves and No. 19 in the NCAA in saves per game... Posted a shutout in a 1-0 victory over San Francisco (9/12), finishing with a season-high nine saves… The nine saves were tied for the most in a single match by a Big West goalkeeper… Won his next two starts with four saves in a 4-2 win at Saint Mary’s (9/15), then made five stops in a 2-1 win at Santa Clara (9/19)… Finished with six saves in a 2-1 win over conference rival UC Riverside (10/5) and made three stops in a 3-1 victory over a receiving votes UC Santa Barbara squad at home (10/19).
JUNIOR (2023): Started 16 of the team’s 18 matches on the year… Finished the season with a 3-9-4 overall record and a 1.61 goals against average, making 88 saves for a .779 save percentage in just under 1,400 minutes… Ended the year leading the Big West in both overall saves, saves per game (5.50), and save percentage, while ranking seventh in the Big West in goals against average and tied for seventh in total shutouts… Ranked No. 30 in the NCAA in save percentage and seventh in saves per game, while standing third in the nation in total saves — a category he led for six straight weeks near the end of the regular season… Anchored a unit that finished third nationally in saves per game (6.11)… His 88 saves rank ninth on the school’s single-season list, while his 5.50 saves per game rank sixth… Finished with a season-high 10 stops at San Francisco (Sept. 17) and finished with seven or more saves in a match six times… Ended the year with three shutouts against Utah Tech (Aug. 31), UC San Diego (Sept. 30), and Cal Poly (Oct. 11)… Added matches with eight saves against the Trailblazers, Pacific (Sept. 7), Saint Mary’s (Sept. 14), and UC Santa Barbara (Oct. 18).
SOPHOMORE (2022): Started 10 matches in net for the Hornets, posting a 3-5-1 record and two shutouts… Posted a 1.48 goals against average and 25 saves in 850 minutes… Made his first career start at nationally ranked Washington on Aug. 25, making three saves… Earned his second career win against San Jose State on Aug. 28, making three saves… Posted a shutout at Utah Tech on Sept. 16 and added another clean sheet at CSU Bakersfield on Sept. 28, making a season-high five saves in the latter.
FRESHMAN (2021): Appeared in three matches for the Hornets in his first season of competition, all as a reserve... Played a season-high 45 minutes on Aug. 29 at Santa Clara, making a season-high seven saves... Earned his first career win on Sept. 2 in a 3-2 win at San Jose State... Finished 1-0-0 overall... Posted a .700 save percentage and a 2.90 goals against average... Totaled 93 minutes.
FRESHMAN (2020): Season canceled due to COVID-19.
LINCOLN HS
Played three seasons for Lincoln HS under head coach George Bonilla, all as goalkeeper... Was an All-Foothill Valley League first team selection as a sophomore and earned back-to-back league MVP awards his junior and senior seasons... Made a career-high 114 saves during his junior season, the same year he helped lead his team to a league championship.
CLUB
Played four years for the San Juan Soccer Club under head coach Matt McDougall, all as goalkeeper... Helped his team win two tournaments in 2019, the Surf Cup and Cal Cup... Has teammates playing collegiately at five different schools, including one at Big West foe CSU Bakersfield.
PERSONAL
Parents are Kathy and Jeff Learned... Sister, Bailey, is a thrower for American River College... Plans to pursue a career in business or professional soccer... Can solve a Rubik's cube in under 30 seconds.
