JUNIOR (2024): Appeared in 10 matches, making a pair of starts against California (8/25) and Saint Mary’s (9/15)… Finished with single shot attempts at Cal State Bakersfield (10/2) and Cal State Fullerton (10/23), putting both on frame… Competed in a season-high 77 minutes against the Golden Bears in the second match of the year.

SOPHOMORE (2023): Appeared in five matches as a reserve for the Hornets… Played in a season-high 21 minutes against UC Irvine (Oct. 21).

FRESHMAN (2022): Appeared in 17 of the team’s 19 matches, making 10 starts — including a run of nine straight from Aug. 28-Oct. 5… Did not record a point, but attempted 14 shots, putting five on frame… Played all 90 minutes twice at Utah Tech on Sept. 16 and against San Francisco on Sept. 22… Attempted a season-high four shots against the Trailblazers in a 1-0 win… Named the Big West Freshman of the Week on Sept. 5, after helping lead the Hornets’ defense to wins over Saint Mary’s and Pacific on Sept. 1 and Sept. 4, respectively.

SERVITE HS
Two-year letter winner for the Friars at Servite HS… Was named All-Trinity League first team in 2021...Named the Friars' Defensive MVP that same year...Also played for Huntington Beach HS, earning the 2019 Iron Man Award... Helped lead his team to a 2020 CIF SoCal Region Division I semifinal appearance and a 2020 CIF Southern Section Division I championship... In 2021, helped guide the Friars to a Trinity League championship, a CIF Division I semifinal appearance, and a SoCal Region Division I semifinal berth… In 2019, was a member of the Huntington Beach High School’s Sunset League championship team... Also ran track and field in high school.

PERSONAL
Parents are Tami Askey and Dade Faison… Father, Dade, played soccer at Maine, while his mother played soccer at Cypress College in Southern California… Played seven club seasons with Slammers FC (ECNL) from 2014-21, spending time as both a right back and a midfielder… Named to the All-ECNL second team and was a Memorial Cup National Cup finalist... Scored three goals with nine assists... Club teammate Lucas Gimenez also signed with Sacramento State.
