SACRAMENTO STATE
JUNIOR (2024): Appeared in 15 of the team’s 18 matches, making 12 starts… One of six field players to play in more than 1,000 minutes on the year… Finished with goals in back-to-back matches against Saint Mary’s (9/15) and at Santa Clara (9/19), including the game winning score on a penalty against the Broncos… Collected his second career assist in the regular season finale against UC Davis (11/2)… Attempted a season-high five shots against the Gaels, putting four of those on frame… Also attempted three shots against the Aggies in the finale… Played a full 90 minutes three times against San Diego State (9/6), UC San Diego (10/12), and UC Davis. 

SOPHOMORE (2023): Started 17 of the team’s 18 matches on the year… Finished the season with a goal and an assist… Scored his first collegiate goal at LMU (Sept. 10) to give the Hornets an early lead and added an assist against CSU Bakersfield (Sept. 27) in a draw to open Big West Conference play… Attempted 16 shots, putting nine of those on frame… Finished with a season-high five shot attempts against UC San Diego (Sept. 30) — putting four of those on frame — and had at least one shot in 10 matches… The five shots and the four shots on goal were the most by a Hornet in a match on the year… Played in a season-high 72 minutes against San Jose State (Sept. 22).

CAL POLY
FRESHMAN (2022): Appeared in 10 matches for the Mustangs in 2022, making one start against UC Riverside on Oct. 8… Attempted a shot against UC Irvine on Oct. 2… Played in a season-high 58 minutes against Sacramento State on Oct. 19.

GRANITE BAY HS
Two-time All-Sierra Foothill League first team selection for the Grizzlies in 2020 and 2021… Scored eight goals and assisted on 10 others as a junior and capped his prep career with 13 goals and 15 assists as a senior, helping Granite Bay HS to a league title.

Born in Baghdad, Iraq… Parents are Bashar and Hala… Has a brother, Thualfikar… His father is currently an assistant coach with the men’s soccer program at Sacramento State… Played club soccer for Placer United and the Sacramento Republic Academy team… Named to the All-Davis Legacy Tournament first team… Fluent in Arabic.
