SENIOR (2023): Appeared in 13 matches, including 11 starts… Finished the year with three assists, two of those coming on the first two goals of the night in a win at Pacific (Sept. 7)… Also had a helper at CSUN (Oct. 7)… Had four shot attempts against Cal State Fullerton (Oct. 14), putting two on frame… Played a full 90 minutes four times.
JUNIOR (2022): Started all 19 matches for the Hornets, finishing with three goals, three assists, for nine points… Finished fourth on the team in points and goals and tied for the team lead in assists… His 17 shots were fourth on the team… Attempted 17 shots, putting seven on frame… Played all 90 minutes in all but four matches… Scored his first goal of the year against Pacific on Sept. 4, adding scores at UNLV on Sept. 18 and at Cal Poly on Oct. 19… Finished with assists at Utah Tech on Sept. 16, against CSUN on Oct. 5, and at Cal State Fullerton on Oct. 22… Attempted a season-high three shots at UC Irvine on Oct. 8.
SOPHOMORE (2021): Played in and started all 18 of Sacramento State's matches in 2021... Was one of two players to start all 18 matches and the team's only position player to achieve that feat... Passed his previous career-high of 16 starts in a season... Scored two goals and added one assist for five total points matching his exact line from his freshman season... His five points were tied for seventh on the team... Attempted 13 shots, placing four of them on goal, good for a .308 shot on goal percentage... Attempted a season-high three shots twice, 9/29 against Cal Poly and 10/6 at CSUN... Scored in both of those matches... His lone assist came on Sept. 2 at San Jose State, connecting with Michael Gonzalez for the game-winner... Played a season and career-high 101 minutes on Oct. 6 at CSUN and played 90 minutes or more five times... Averaged 75.4 minutes and played 1,358 minutes total.
SOPHOMORE (2020): Season canceled due to COVID-19.
FRESHMAN (2019): Played in all 18 of Sacramento State's matches, starting 16 of them... Was one of four to appear in all 18 matches and one of just two freshmen to achieve the feat... Started each of his first 13 contests before coming off the bench in the 14th... Scored two goals, including one in his Sacramento State debut, a 2-0 win on the road at San Jose State on Aug. 30... Scored again, this time a game-winner, on the road at UC Riverside on Oct. 26... Also had an assist in what was a 1-1 draw at home against Pacific on Sept. 22... His five total points were tied for sixth most on the squad... Took 16 total shots, placing half of them (eight) on goal... Alfaro played 1,183 total minutes, most among underclassmen... Averaged 66 minutes per game and played a season-high 90 twice (Sept. 13 at Loyola Marymount and Oct. 9 at UC Santa Barbara).
PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE
Played the last four seasons with the Sacramento Republic FC Academy team... Joined the academy team in its first year for the 2014-15 season... Over the course of his four years with the club, Alfaro spent time at right back, left back, and center back... In total, played in 98 games with academy team and started 81 of them... Started a career-best 24 games in each of the 2015-16 and 2017-18 seasons... Started all 24 games in both seasons... During the 2017-18 season, Alfaro scored a goal and added an assist against the San Jose Earthquakes.

Parents are Genaro and Marisela Alfaro... Goal is to play or work with a professional soccer club or own his own business.
