SENIOR (2023): Appeared in 14 contests for the Hornets, making 11 starts… Scored his lone goal of the year in a 1-1 draw with CSU Bakersfield (Sept. 27) to open conference play… Finished with 11 shots, putting four on frame… Attempted four shots against the Roadrunners and had multiple shots in three other contests… Played in a season-high 75 minutes against the Aggies.

JUNIOR (2022): Started 18 matches on the season for the Hornets, finishing the year with five goals and two assists for 12 points… Led the team in points and goals scored, while finishing second in shots and first in shots on goal (13)… Tied for fifth in the league in goals scored and seventh in points… Attempted 24 shots, putting 13 on frame… Netted only the sixth hat trick in the program’s Division I history against Gonzaga on Sept. 11, scoring all three goals in a 3-2 win over the Bulldogs… That came after he scored the first goal in a 2-1 win over Loyola Marymount on Sept. 8, leading to Big West Offensive Player of the Week honors… Added a goal at Cal Poly on Oct. 19 and finished with assists at CSU Bakersfield on Sept. 28 and against UC Riverside on Oct. 15… Ended the game against Gonzaga with seven shots (six on frame), matching teammate Dominic Vegaalban for the most by a Hornet on the year and the most since Edwin Luna finished with eight in 2013 against San Francisco… The six shots on goal were the most since Isaac Flores finished with seven against William Jessup in 2011… His six points against Gonzaga were the most by a Big West player in 2022.

SOPHOMORE (2021): Played in all 18 of Sacramento State's matches, starting 12 of them... Scored two goals and collected three assists for seven total points, third most on the team... All three -- goals, assists, and points -- were a career-high for the third year forward... Scored his first goal of the year against UC Irvine on Oct. 2, a crucial score in an eventual 3-2 win at home... His second came at home against UC San Diego, the first in a 2-1 Hornets win... Three assists were third most on the team... Had his first assist at Pacific (9/16), second at Western Michigan (9/24), and third at home against Cal State Fullerton (10/23)... Attempted 20 total shots, fourth most on the team, and placed six of those shots on goal... Played 90 or more minutes just once, seeing 104 minutes of action at Western Michigan... Played double-digit minutes in all 18 of his matches and averaged 55.3 minutes... Played 995 total minutes.

SOPHOMORE (2020): Season canceled due to COVID-19.

FRESHMAN (2019): Appeared in 16 of Sacramento State's 18 matches while starting eight... His eight starts came in consecutive games from Sept. 6-29... Scored one goal in his debut season, a home goal against CSU Bakersfield on Sept. 8... Attempted 10 total shots on the season, including a season-high three in the game against CSU Bakersfield... Placed five of his 10 shots on goal... Averaged 33 minutes per game and played a season-high 72 in Sacramento State's hard-fought match on the road at No. 5 Indiana... Played 535 minutes total.

CLUB
Magaña appeared in 65 games while making 40 starts for the Crossfire Premiere... As a member of the U-16/17 club during the 2017-18 season, Magaña made a career-high 27 starts... That same year, he scored a career-best 10 goals while placing 75% of his shots on goal.

BOTHELL HS
Although graduating from Bothell HS, Magaña played just one season of high school soccer at his hometown school of Highland HS during the 2015-16 academic year... During that season, Magaña and his team placed fourth in 1A in Washington after winning their conference and finishing second in their district... During that postseason run, Magaña scored a goal and assisted on another as his team beat the undefeated Brewster HS, 2-1, in the first round of the state playoffs... In total, Magaña finished with 15 goals and 10 assists while being named to the conference's all-freshman first team in his one year with Highland... After one season at Highland HS, Magaña transferred to Bothell HS in order to play exclusively with the Sounders' Academy team, the Crossfire Premiere. 

PERSONAL: Parents are Francisco and Imelda Magaña... Majoring in kinesiology... Plans to attend graduate school and pursue a career as a chiropractor.
