REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2023): Appeared in three matches, making a pair of starts at Gonzaga (Aug. 27) and at UC Davis (Oct. 28)… Wrapped up the season with a 1-1 record to go along with 19 saves and a .760 save percentage in just over 223 minutes of action… Finished with a season-high 10 stops in the regular season finale against the Aggies, helping his team to a 1-0 win on the road… Ended with five saves at home against UC Irvine in relief and added four stops against the Bulldogs… The shutout against UC Davis was the third of his career.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2022): Made 10 appearances in net for the Hornets, starting nine matches between the pipes… Finished with a 1.26 goals against average and 36 saves in 860 minutes, while posting a 6-3-1 overall record and two shutouts… Ranked fourth in the league in saves per game (3.60) and fifth in the Big West in both goals against average and save percentage… Earned his first career win in his collegiate debut and first career start at Saint Mary’s on Sept. 1, making two saves in a 4-1 win over the Gaels… Opened the season unbeaten in his first four starts, posting a draw at Pacific on Sept. 4 and making four saves in back-to-back wins over Loyola Marymount on Sept. 8 and Gonzaga on Sept. 11… Posted his first career shutout in a 4-0 win at Cal Poly on Oct. 19, forced to make only one save… Followed that up with a shutout at Cal State Fullerton on Oct. 22, making a season-high nine saves in a 1-0 on the road… The nine saves were the third-most in a match in the Big West in 2022… Made five saves in the team’s Big West Tournament match against UC Irvine on Nov. 2.

FRESHMAN (2021): Did not play (redshirt season).

MARIA CARILLO HS
Played four years of varsity soccer for Maria Carillo HS... Was the starting goalkeeper for the Pumas for four years... As a junior, earned the first-ever Maria Carillo HS Most Valuable Player Award... Recorded five straight clean sheets as a junior and earned the North Bay League Award of Merit. 

CLUB
Played at Atlético Santa Rosa, ECNL club for 10 seasons, all as a goalkeeper... Made the Player Development Program in 2019... Helped his club win the 2017 Surf Cup while playing up two age brackets... Recorded six consecutive clean sheets in Champions League play.

PERSONAL
Parents are Heriberto Guerra and Juana Suazo... Brother, Heriberto, played soccer for Notre Dame de Namur... Would like to develop his soccer skills while at Sacramento State and eventually play at a higher level like the MLS... Has been scouted by professional clubs in both the MLS and the Liga MX, Mexico's top professional league.
