• Big West Conference All-Academic Team (2022, 2023, 2024)
SENIOR (2024): Appeared in all 18 matches for the Hornets, making 17 starts… Competed in 1,355 minutes, which ranked third among all field players, and went the distance in five contests… Ranked second on the team with four assists, posting single helpers in matches against Saint Mary’s (9/15), Santa Clara (9/19), UC Riverside (10/5), and UC Santa Barbara (10/19)… Attempted a season-high five shots at California (8/25) and finished with 16 on the season.
SENIOR (2023): Appeared in 14 matches, making five starts — the latter coming in his final six matches of the year… Attempted nine shots on the season, including a season-high three against UC San Diego (Sept. 30)… Put four of his nine attempts on frame… Played all 90 minutes against rival UC Davis on the road and added an 86-minute performance against the Tritons.
JUNIOR (2022): Appeared in 18 matches for the Hornets, making 11 starts — including a run of nine straight from Sept. 11-Oct. 12… Scored his only points of the season with a goal at UC San Diego on Oct. 1… Attempted nine shots on the year, including a season-high three against the Roadrunners.
SOPHOMORE (2021): Played in all 18 of Sacramento State's matches, one of six players to do so... Started 10 of those 18 matches... Scored two goals and added one assist... His two goals were among a seven-way tie for second most on the club... His five total points ranked tied for seventh on the club... Scored his first career goal in his Sacramento State debut, converting on a penalty kick in the Hornets' season opener at San Francisco on Aug. 26... His second goal also came on a penalty kick, a crucial goal in the Hornets' 3-2 win over UC Irvine at home on Oct. 2... Added his first career assist on Sept. 16, connecting with Titus Washington for the game winner at Pacific... Attempted 12 total shots, placing six of them on goal... Played 90 or more minutes four times in his 18 matches, including a season-high 109 in the team's 1-1 draw at Western Michigan on Sept. 24... Averaged 55.8 minutes and totaled 1,006 minutes on the season.
FRESHMAN (2020): Season canceled due to COVID-19.
MERCED HS
Ramirez played two seasons for the Bears, where he was named his team's MVP.
CLUB
Played 11 seasons for the Merced Soccer Academy... During his time with the club, Ramirez was part of three tournament championships, including the Santa Clara Sporting Cup and the Vegas Cup in 2017 and the Copa Zorros in 2016... In addition to playing locally with Merced HS and the Merced Soccer Academy, Ramirez has spent time with the Seattle Sounders Academy team and the Sacramento Republic FC Academy team... Ramirez appeared in three games with the Sounders Academy club in 2017-18 before moving back home to join the Republic Academy team... In 2018-19, Ramirez played in 15 games and made 12 starts for the Sacramento Republic FC Academy team, scoring four goals.
