2021-22 Season
Started all 28 games in which he appeared…team co-captain…was the Hornets’ third leading scorer at 9.8 points per game…finished with averages of 9.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 32.9 minutes per game…made 2.8 3-pointers per game, and shot his 3-balls at a 41% clip…in conference play, he ranked first in the Big Sky with 3.3 made 3-pointers per game, and ranked fifth shooting them at 43%…buried five 3-pointers in each of the final five games of the regular season…committed just 29 turnovers in 922 minutes played (one per 31.8 minutes)…buried at least four 3-pointers in 12 games…his overall 3-point percentage of .407 ranked as the 27th best mark in the nation among players that averaged 2.5 makes per game…buried 79-of-194 attempts from deep…the 79 makes are the eighth best mark in program single-season history, and third best in the Hornets’ Div. I era (1991-pres.)…finished career shooting .408 (138-338) from distance, and that percentage ranks eighth in program history, and sixth in the Div. I era.

2020-21 Season
Played in 18 games, including 17 starts…missed two games to injury…averaged a team-high 35.7 minutes per game…also led the team in 3-pointers made (49) and 3-point percentage (.415)…his 2.72 made 3-pointers per game ranked as the 43rd best mark in the nation, and his 3-point percentage was the 17th best mark in the country…Hornets’ fourth leading scorer at 9.9 points per game…finished the season averaging 9.9 points, 3.0 rebounds and 35.7 minutes…committed just five turnovers in 642 minutes, or one turnover every 128.2 minutes…at one point during the season, he went 362 straight minutes without a turnover…scored in double figures eight times, including a career-best 23 points on 7-for-10 shooting from the 3-point line at Montana State…made at least one 3-pointer in all but one game…knocked down at least three 3-pointers on 11 occasions…went 6-for-6 from the free throw line over the final 26 seconds of a 70-65 road win at Idaho State…FitzPatrick’s 3-point percentage of .415 ranks as the fifth best single-season mark in Sacramento State’s Div. I era (1991-pres.)…a Big Sky all-academic selection, and NABC Honors Court choice for academic excellence.

2019-20 Season
Played in 21 games in his first season with the Hornets…averaged 1.6 points in 6.4 minutes per game…shot a team-high 39% (10-for-26) from the 3-point line…all but seven of his field goal attempts came from the 3-point line…knocked down at least one 3-pointer in seven games, including a season-best nine points on 3-for-7 from distance at home vs. Idaho…posted a season-best three rebounds at Montana State…season totals of 34 points, nine rebounds, six assists and 134 minutes…a Big Sky all-academic selection, and NABC Honors Court choice for academic excellence.

Prior to Sacramento State

Played the 2018-19 season at Folsom Lake College after playing for Case Western Reserve University during his 2017-18 freshman year…as a sophomore at Folsom Lake, he was an all-Big 8 Conference selection after averaging 13.4 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game…after coming off the bench during his first eight games, FitzPatrick started 17 of the team’s final 18 games of the year…shot 47% (134-288) from the field, 39% (53-137) from the 3-point line and 85% (40-47) from the free throw line…scored in double figures 21 times, and posted double-doubles (points and rebounds) each of the final two games of the season…at Case Western Reserve, which is an NCAA Div. III school in Cleveland, Ohio, he played in 14 games off the bench…that season, FitzPatrick averaged 4.8 points on 46% (26-56) shooting from the field and 44% (11-25) from the 3-point line…posted a season-high 18 points against Washington (Mo.) on 7-of-12 shooting from the field and 4-for-6 from distance.

High School
A 2017 graduate of Vista Del Lago High School in Folsom, Calif…played four years for the Eagles, which included his final three seasons on the varsity squad…named all-league and all-metro during his junior and senior seasons after helping Vista to a pair of Capital Athletic League championships and a 46-19 combined record…averaged 9.4 points per game during his three varsity seasons, including 13.5 points as a junior.

Parents are Will and Natalie FitzPatrick…a communication studies major…father, Will, played baseball for Sacramento State from 1990-93…the elder FitzPatrick still ranks among Hornet career leaders in numerous Div. I era statistical categories, including first in walks, tied for second in home runs and third in RBIs.
