Drew Peters enters her third season with the program in 2026-27, and second as Head Team Manager, while entering her senior year at Sacramento State.
The Manteca, Calif., native has been involved in basketball for most of her life, playing AAU basketball and competing four years of high school. Her passion for the game, strong work ethic, and leadership abilities led her to join the Hornet men’s basketball program, where she has become an integral part of the team’s day-to-day operations.
Since joining the program prior to the 2024-25 season, Peters has taken on increasing responsibilities in practice preparation, game-day operations, player support, equipment management, travel coordination, team communication, and overseeing the student manager staff. As Head Team Manager, she works closely with the coaching staff to help ensure the program operates efficiently and maintains a high standard both on and off the court.
Currently a senior at Sacramento State pursuing a degree in Liberal Studies, Peters hopes to build a career in collegiate athletics. Her goal is to become a Director of Basketball Operations at the collegiate level before eventually pursuing opportunities in the NBA. Through her dedication, organization, communication skills, and passion for basketball, she hopes to continue making a positive impact on the programs and student-athletes she serves.
