2020-21 Season
Played in two of the Hornets’ first four games before opting out the remainder of the season…played two minutes against both Idaho and Saint Mary’s.

Prior to Sacramento State

Played two seasons (2018-20) at Butte College in Oroville, Calif…did not miss a game during his two seasons, starting all 55 contests…named team captain both years…helped lead the Roadrunners to a Golden Valley Conference championship as a freshman…averaged better than 15 points each of his two seasons, finishing with career totals of 16.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game…shot 42% from the field, 36% from the 3-point line and 80% from the free throw line…named first team all-conference both seasons…as a sophomore, he was the third leading scorer in the Golden Valley Conference with 16.8 points per game, and scored 30-plus points on three occasions.

High School
A 2018 graduate of Corning Union High School…played four years of varsity ball, including his final three years as a varsity starter…a three-time team captain…during his final three seasons, Zoppi helped the Cardinals to two section championships (2018, 2017), three league titles, a 76-14 overall record and 27-3 mark in league…named the Westside League MVP and first team all-section both of his final two seasons…averaged better than 11 points each of his final three seasons, including 16.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists as a junior, and 14.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists as a senior.

Parents are Johnny Eller, Kim Tiner and Jenny Hammel…a psychology major…would like to become a clinical psychologist…can do magic tricks with cards.
