SACRAMENTO STATE
2025: Started 15 games en route to becoming the first Hornet pitcher to be named the Western Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year… Finished 10-2 overall with a 4.19 ERA, striking out 63 hitters over 88.0 innings and holding opponents to a .268 average… The WAC-high 10 victories were the most by a Hornet pitcher since Austin Root finished 11-3 in 2018 and ranked tied for 11th in the NCAA… Finished second in the WAC in innings pitched, 13th in ERA, 12th in strikeouts, and 11th in strikeouts looking… His 5.87 innings per game ranked third in the league, while he also stood 11th in fewest walks allowed per nine innings (2.35), eighth in fewest runs allowed per game (4.40), and 13th in fewest earned runs allowed per game (4.19)… Finished the year with seven “quality starts,” including four starts of seven innings or more… After losing his first start of the year, posted dominating wins in his next two starts: throwing six shutout innings with two hits allowed and eight strikeouts against Ball State (2/21) en route to conference pitcher of the week honors, then throwing 5.1 shutout innings, allowing four hits and striking out seven against South Dakota State (2/28)… Following the opener, won eight of his next 11 starts, including a season-high eight shutout innings, allowing six hits and striking out three at Abilene Christian (4/4)… Struck out seven twice against the Jackrabbits and at Grand Canyon (5/2)… Won his start in the WAC Tournament opener against Grand Canyon (5/22), allowing just one run on five hits and striking out two over five innings.
2024: Started all 15 of his appearances, finishing the year with a 6-5 record and a 3.89 ERA… Struck out a team-high 60 hitters against only 19 walks in 81.0 innings, holding opponents to a .235 average… Ranked No. 9 in the WAC in opponent batting average, sixth in innings, tied for fourth in wins, third in innings per game (5.40), seventh in fewest walks per nine innings (2.11), seventh in fewest hits per nine innings (7.67), and eighth in fewest runs per nine innings (4.22)… Threw back-to-back seven-inning complete games in wins over UT Arlington (5/3) and Stephen F. Austin (5/10)… Became the first Hornet to throw multiple complete games in a season since Scott Randall and Travis Adams in 2021 and the first to do it in back-to-back starts since Randall that same year… The two complete games had him ranked tied for No. 12 in the NCAA… Also ranked No. 36 in the nation in WHIP (1.09) and No. 69 in the NCAA in fewest walks allowed per nine innings (2.11)… It was the first complete game by a Hornet pitcher since Eli Saul at Grand Canyon in 2022… Threw seven straight “quality starts” from March 28 to May 10, allowing two runs or fewer in each of the outings, while collecting eight total “quality starts” — the most since Saul had the same number in 2022… Went five innings in nine of his 15 starts, including a season-high eight innings against California Baptist on April 5… Finished 5-3 with a 3.23 ERA in 10 WAC starts, holding opponents to a .201 average while striking out 42 in 55.2 innings, walking only 14… Won three straight starts in May against UT Arlington, Stephen F. Austin, and at UTRGV (5/16)… Struck out a season-high eight without a walk against Utah Valley (3/9) and tied that mark with eight strikeouts against Stephen F. Austin (5/10)... Struck out seven and allowed only one run on three hits in 6.0 innings against nationally ranked UC Santa Barbara (2/24)… Also added seven strikeouts against Tarleton State (4/26), allowing two earned on four hits in 6.1 innings, but picked up the no-decision… Went at least six innings eight times and seven innings five times.
2023: Started 12 of his 13 appearances on the mound for the Hornets, posting a 4-4 record with a 7.29 ERA… Earned the win in his season debut against North Dakota State (2/18), striking out three over three innings against the Bison… Made his first start of the year against Tulane (3/5) and was stuck with a no-decision… Won three of his final five starts of the year… Pitched a season-high seven innings in back-to-back starts against UT Arlington (4/15) and at SeattleU (4/21)… Tied that mark in his final start of the year against Utah Tech (5/19), allowing just two runs on four hits while striking out a season-high eight against the Trailblazers… Also had a seven-strikeout performance against the Redhawks a month earlier, allowing just four hits over the seven shutout innings… Finished the year with five “quality starts” (at least six innings, allowing three-or-fewer earned runs), including four straight from April 8-28.
2021: Did not play... Medical redshirt.
2020: After splitting time as both a position player and pitcher in 2019, transitioned to pitching only in 2020... Appeared in five games, all in relief... Finished with an 0-0 record and a 6.00 ERA... Had six strikeouts in six innings of work... Scattered eight hits and walked three over the course of the shortened season... Had a season-high 2.0 inning outing in his 2020 debut at home against UC Santa Barbara on Feb. 16, in which struck out three and did not allow a run.
2019: Played in 46 games with 35 starts and saw time at all four infield positions... Hit .187 with a .300 on-base percentage... Hit one home run, drove in 12, and scored 15 runs... His 107 at bats were most among non-regular starters... His lone home run came on the road at Chicago State... Had four multi-hit games and one multi-RBI game... Had four sacrifice bunts and four sacrifice flies during the course of the season... Appeared as a pitcher in 11 games, including five starts on the mound... Pitched to a 1-3 record with an 8.64 ERA... Had 13 strikeouts in 16.2 innings of work... Most impressive pitching performance came in the WAC Tournament in an elimination game against Utah Valley, throwing five innings of two-run ball (one earned), allowing just two hits and striking out four... Appeared twice in the NCAA Regional Tournament, both times against No. 4 Stanford.
FRANKLIN HS
Played four varsity seasons for the Wildcats... Hit a prep-high .389 as a senior, scoring 24 runs and driving in 26 to go with eight doubles, six triples, and a pair of home runs... Finished with a .325 average as a junior, scoring 15 runs and driving in 21... Added seven doubles and a pair of triples... Finished 7-2 with a 1.41 ERA on the mound as a senior in 13 appearances, striking out 101 over 69.1 innings of work... Struck out 15 batters and threw the first perfect game in the history of the Franklin HS program to start his senior season against Vacaville HS... Helped lead the Wildcats to a share of the Delta League championship, earning Sacramento Bee Player of the Year honors... Struck out 48 batters and won five games as a junior over 53.1 innings... Finished his prep career with 179 strikeouts over 167.1 innings of work, winning 16 games.

Parents are Kevin and Raechelle... Has a brother, Lucas, and a sister, Samantha... Brother and sister are twins... His mother graduated from Sacramento State... Lists his proudest personal accomplishment as completing EMT school and plans on pursuing a career as a firefighter paramedic after graduation... Career sports highlight is winning the 2019 WAC Tournament.
