2024-25 Season
• One of three Hornets to appear in all 32 games, including 25 starts
• 25 starts were the third most on the team
• Started the first nine games, and the last 16 games of the season
• Tied for third on the team in scoring at 8.0 points per game to go along with 3.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.9 steals and 26.0 minutes
• Led the team with 55 3-pointers made, shooting them at a 34% clip (55-161)
• The 55 3-balls were tied for 10th most in the Big Sky
• Scored in double figures in four of the final seven games, including a season-high 18 points (5-9 FG, 3-5 3FG, 5-6 FT) during the Hornets’ Big Sky Tourney game vs. Weber State
• Buried multiple 3-pointers in 18 games
• Scored in double figures on 13 occasions, including seven times vs. Big Sky opposition

Prior to Sacramento State
• Played his junior season (2023-24) at Idaho, and two seasons (2021-23) at City College of San Francisco
• At Idaho, he played three games against the Hornets - two during the regular season and one Big Sky Tournament game
• When fully recovered from injury at Idaho, during his final 10 games of the season, he averaged 10.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 44% FG (35-80), 40% 3FG (17-43) and 79% (22-28) FT
• During those 10 games, his 10.9 ppg average was second highest on the team
• Scored a game-high 15 points in Idaho’s win over the Hornets at the Nest on Feb. 5
• Finished the season averaging 5.8 points, 2.2 rebounds and 0.8 steals per game
• At City College of San Francisco, he was two-time first team all-Coast North (2022, 2023), two-time first team all-defense (2022, 2023), Coast North Defensive Player of the Year (2023), State Championship All-Tournament team (2023), all-freshman team (2022) and first-team all-NorCal (2023)
• Averaged 11.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists (41% 3PT shooter) as a sophomore for a CCSF squad that went 29-4 with a runner-up finish at the CCCAA State Championship
• Started 18 games as a freshman where he helped the team to a 32-1 record and CCCAA state title after averaging 7.2 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists
• Drew over 100 charges during his two seasons with the Rams
High School
• A 2020 graduate of Balboa High School in San Diego, Calif.
• Played three seasons of basketball at Sacred Heart Cathedral in San Francisco, and one season at Balboa.
• Two-time second team all-West Catholic Athletic League selection while playing at Sacred Heart Cathedral

• Son of Malkia and Emmett Neal
• A communication studies major who is on pace to graduate in the spring of 2025
• Played with San Francisco Rebels, Team Lillard and Gamepoint Elite
• Brother, Julian, plays football at Fresno State
