2015-16 Season
Played in 30 of the team’s 31 games, including 23 starts…averaged 7.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, 0.5 steals and 26.2 minutes per game…shot .386 (71-of-184) from the field, .384 (53-of-138) from the 3-point line and a team-high .886 (31-of-35) from the free throw line…his 53 3-pointers were second most on the team…missed his only game of the season on Dec. 21 at Stanford (concussion)…scored in double figures on 10 occasions, including a career-high 18 points at home vs. Idaho State…in that game, he also set or tied his career high in rebounds (8) and blocked shots (2)…had a streak of three straight games with 13 points against Pacific Union, Portland State and Montana State, respectively…had 13 points on 3-of-4 shooting from the 3-point line in the Hornets’ win over Montana State in the 1st round of the Big Sky Tournament…commited just one turnover every 32.8 minutes played…raised his scoring average every season of his career…shot .405 (94-of-232) from the 3-point line during his career, the sixth best mark in school history…named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court for academic prowess.
2014-15 Season
Appeared in all 33 games during his third season with the program…averaged 2.7 points, 1.3 rebounds, 0.3 assists and 10.1 minutes per game…shot .508 (30-59) from the field, .463 (19-41) from the 3-point line and .667 (10-15) from the free throw line…had a season-high 12 points, including 4-for-4 from the 3-point arc, in the Hornets’ home over Eastern Washington which was a battle for first place at the time…also scored 11 points on 3-of-4 from distance on the road at Northern Arizona…had a career-high tying five rebounds in a win at Utah Valley…shot .529 (9-17) from beyond the 3-point arc in conference play…committed just 12 turnovers, or one every 27.8 minutes played.
2013-14 Season
Played in all 30 games during his sophomore season, posting averages of 2.5 points, 1.1 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game…averaged 10.2 minutes, including a season-high 22 minutes at UTEP…shot .357 (25-70) from the field, .390 (16-41) from the 3-point line and .800 (8-10) from the free throw line…had a season-high 15 points in the Hornets’ home win over Northern Arizona where he shot 4-for-6 from the field, 2-for-2 from distance and 5-of-6 from the free throw line…buried a pair of second-half 3-pointers to help the Hornets to a comeback win at rival UC Davis…posted a season-high tying five rebounds in a home win against North Dakota…connected on four straight 3-point attempts over a two-game span in wins against Northern Arizona and Southern Utah.
2012-13 Season
Appeared in 13 games as a true freshman…averaged 2.0 points, 0.5 rebounds and 0.5 assists in 4.5 minutes per game…made the most of his minutes, shooting .529 (9-17) from the field, .500 (6-12) from the three-point line and 1.000 (2-2) from the free throw line…of his seven rebounds during the season, four came on the offensive glass…had a season-high eight points in four minutes against UC Merced…had just two turnovers in 59 total minutes played.
High School
A 2012 graduate of Edison High School in Huntington Beach, Calif…was a two-time first team all-Sunset League selection during his two seasons at Edison, and was selected to the all-CIF Southern Section 1A squad as a senior…was a high school teammate of current Sacramento State point guard Dylan Garrity where the duo both started for the 2010-11 Edison HS squad that went 26-3 overall, won a Sunset League championship and made a CIF Southern Section quarterfinal appearance…during his senior season, he helped the Chargers to a CIF Southern Section second-round appearance while scoring a league-leading 22.8 points per game to go with 6.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.3 steals…shot 44.0 percent (182-414) from the field and 36.2 percent (81-224) from the three-point line while scoring in double figures in every game during the season…as a junior (2010-11), Barlett averaged 14.2 points and 3.2 rebounds per game while shooting 51.3 percent (140-273) from the field and 42.6 percent (43-101) from the three-point line…that included scoring 16 points in both the second round and quarterfinal games of the section tournament…during his two seasons at Edison, the Chargers combined for a 46-12 overall record and a 14-6 mark in the Sunset League…prior to Edison, he played one season of varsity ball as a sophomore (2009-10) at Bolsa Grande High School in Garden Grove, Calif.
