Sacramento State

2018 Season: Saw action in six games at quarterback…started against North Dakota, Portland State and Weber State…finished the year completing 50-of-102 passes for 731 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions…came on in relief at Southern Utah and threw for a career high 246 yards and a touchdown…also rushed for a touchdown at SUU…his second touchdown pass came against Portland State…had at least a 30-yard completion in four of his six games.

2017 Season: Played in five games as a reserve quarterback during his first year with the team…threw for 31 yards and 2-of-14 passing…also rushed for 18 total yards and a touchdown…had 44 yards of total offense against Incarnate Word as he rushed for 13 yards and a TD and threw for 20 yards.

Prior to Sacramento State: Played two seasons at Modesto JC…threw for 2,078 yards and 17 touchdowns this past season to earn all-Valley Conference honors…also rushed for seven scores and had only five interceptions…took over the starting job a few weeks into the year and sparked the Pirates, winning the final six regular season games and earning a berth in the NorCal semifinals…breakout performance came at Siskiyous where he completed 25-of-28 passes for 320 yards and three touchdowns and also rushed for 65 yards and a score…threw for at least 250 yards in three contests and finished the year completing 63.6 percent of his passes.

High School: A 2015 graduate of Pitman HS in Turlock, Calif…played football, baseball and basketball for the Pride.

Personal: Majoring in economics…parents are Gregg and Susan Clapper.
