Angela Lalwani is in her first season at Sacramento State as the football program’s administrative assistant and on-campus recruiting coordinator. In her role, Lalwani handles the day-to-day-operations for head coach Alonzo Carter and organizes all efforts for on-campus recruiting visits.
Lalwani came to the Hornets in the spring of 2026 after serving as the Director of Football Operations and coordinator of athletic management at Northeastern State in 2025. While at NSU, she oversaw all office functions including travel, budget and purchasing and gameday operations.
Lalwani previously was an operations assistant at the American Bowl and Dream Bowl and also was a game operations and event management fellow at Mississippi State in 2024-25. She was selected to be a part of the NFL Women Forum.
A former track & field/cross country student athlete, Lalwani began her collegiate career at Virginia State before transferring to Benedict College. After graduation she was a graduate assistant in track and field at South Carolina.
She returned to Bennedict College as the graduate assistant for football operations for the 2023 season.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting/business management from Benedict College in 2022 and added a master’s in sports management in 2024.
