2017 Season: Moved to defense prior to the start of the season…appeared in 10 games and had 24 total tackles…was credited with at least one tackle in every game in which he appeared…had four tackles against Incarnate Word, Eastern Washington, Northern Arizona and Cal Poly for his season high…earned Big Sky all-academic honors.

2016 Season: Played in the team’s final 10 games of the season…rushed for 141 yards on 24 attempts (5.88 yards per carry)…scored on a 36-yard rush at Montana for his first career touchdown…had a 39-yard rush against Cal Poly for his longest rush…also served as one of the team’s primary kick returners…averaged 24.62 yards on 29 returns (714 yards)…had a long of 54 yards at Northern Colorado…also had a 52-yard return at UC Davis.

High School: A 2016 graduate of Liberty HS in Bakersfield, Calif…was named first team all-area by the Bakersfield Californian and was a co-Offensive Player of the Year for the Southwest Yosemite League as a senior…rushed for 1,647 yards and 21 touchdowns and also caught 27 passes for 424 yards and four scores…helped Liberty win a Central Section championship and earn a berth in a Northern California championship game…as a junior, he had 619 yards of total offense while splitting time between wide receiver and running back…qualified for the California State Track & Field Championships in the triple jump.

Personal: Has yet to declare a major…father is Darryl Jountti…brother, Corbin, is a running back at Northern Arizona.
