2018 Season: Played in all 10 games, starting four at defensive end, during his first season with the team…recorded 22 total tackles with 13 solos…also had 2.5 tackles-for-loss and 1.5 sacks…returned a fumble recovery 33 yards for a touchdown at Weber State…had a season high five tackles against UC Davis…had a key play in the team’s win at Northern Colorado with a strip sack which was recovered by Sacramento State…also shared a sack at Montana.

Prior to Sacramento State: Graduated from Idaho…redshirted in 2015 and sat out all of 2016 due to an injury…compiled 45 total tackles in 2017, with 11.0 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks…opened the season with four tackles, including a sack against the Hornets…had eight stops against South Alabama and Troy for his season bests…recorded 3.5 TFLs, including 2.5 sacks, against Louisiana…attended Sierra JC in Rocklin, Calif., for two years…earned honorable mention all-NorCal Conference as a sophomore…had 45 total tackles with 6.5 sacks and 12.5 TFLs that season…had three games with seven tackles to set his career best.

High School: A 2013 graduate of Antelope HS…named first team all-Capital Athletic League…was a teammate of current Hornets Mister Harriel, Caelan Barnes and Davaeon Johnson…also played basketball and was part of the Sac-Joaquin Section championship team his junior and senior years.

Personal: Pursuing his master’s degree in recreation, parks and tourism administration…earned his bachelor’s degree in apparel, textiles and design from Idaho…parents are Yolanda and the late Leonard Hazewood III.
