• Redshirted during the season.

High School

• Graduated from Folsom HS in 2019.
• Was a two-star recruit by 247sports.
• Named second team all-metro by the Sacramento Bee as a senior.
• Started at guard for a Folsom team that went 14-1 overall and won the Sac-Joaquin Section Div. I, Northern California and California State Div. 1-AA titles.
• The team’s only loss came against De La Salle in the opening game of the year.
• Played an instrumental role for Bulldog offense which averaged 567.5 yards of offense and scored 51.6 points per game.
• Also swept the section, NorCal and state titles as a junior after Folsom went 16-0.
• Was a high school teammate of fellow recruit Tyler Hardeman.
• Played for current Hornet assistant coaches Kris Richardson, Bobby Fresques, Sam Cole and Chris Parry.

Personal

• Plans to major in criminal justice.
• Parents are John and Holly Wagner.
• Father played football at Sacramento State and mom was a member of the Hornet water ski team.
