2013 Season: Played in nine games during his true freshman season…primarily served as the team's holder on field goals and extra points…attempted passes against Arizona State, Weber State and UC Davis…finished the year 4-of-9 for 27 yards…also rushed for seven yards during the year…longest completion was a 19-yard pass against UC Davis.

High School: A 2013 graduate of Bishop Mora Salesian HS in Los Angeles…garnered first team all-Southern Section Northeast Division and Santa Fe League MVP honors as a senior…also named the North Region Player of the Year by the Wave Newspaper Group…was a three-star recruit by Rivals.com and a two-star recruit by Scout.com…threw for 2,128 yards and 21 touchdowns with only four interceptions in 2012…also rushed for 901 yards and 15 touchdowns…recorded two 300-yard passing games with a high of 331 against Los Altos HS…in that game, he also rushed for a season high 165 yards and four touchdowns…completed 61.9 percent of his pass attempts in 2012…guided Salesian to an 11-2 overall record and a berth in the Southern Section Northeast Division semifinals…as a junior, he threw for 3,281 yards with 38 touchdowns and eight interceptions and rushed for 302 yards with 11 touchdowns…overall, he accounted for 85 touchdowns and 6,612 yards of total offense over his final two seasons…also played baseball for a pair of seasons.
