High School: Graduated from Newbury Park after the first semester of his senior year allowing him to enroll early at Sacramento State…was a two-time first team all-Marmonte League selection…named to the all-Ventura County team as a senior…set the county record for career yards, finishing with 6,168 yards and 50 touchdowns…as a senior, he threw for 2,384 yards and 13 touchdowns…biggest output came against Moorpark where he was 31-of-46 for 482 yards and three touchdowns…also rushed for 304 yards and eight TDs…helped the team to a 10-2 mark as a junior after throwing for 2,229 yards and 21 touchdowns…had a pair of 300-yard games, comprised of 313 against Moorpark and 302 against Westlake…threw for at least one touchdown in 10 consecutive games…had three TDs against Saugus, Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks…began his high school career at Oaks Christian.
