Sacramento State

2022 Season

• Played in nine games during the season at linebacker and on special teams.
• Tallied 11 total tackles, including six solos.
• Was credited with a half-TFL against Utah Tech.
• Forced a fumble and had a PBU against Northern Colorado.
• Had five tackles against Utah Tech and five against UNC for his season best.
• Earned Big Sky all-academic honors.

2021 Season

• Played in seven games on special teams and as a reserve linebacker.
• Five of his seven tackles came against Portland State where he had two solos among his total.
• Also had a pass breakup in the game against the Vikings.
• Was credited with a tackle against Northern Arizona and Cal Poly.

2020 Season

• Season canceled due to COVID-19.

Prior to Sacramento State

• Played two seasons at American River JC where he was coached by former Hornet All-American Jon Osterhout.
• Recorded 72 total tackles with 5.5 for loss.
• Had 12 tackles against Modesto JC for his career best.
• Was credited with 10 tackles, including 3.5 for loss and a sack at Siskiyous.
• Tallied 13 tackles as a freshman while being limited to five games.

High School

• A 2018 graduate of Nevada Union HS in Grass Valley, Calif.
• Was a three-year varsity starter at middle linebacker where he was named all-league following each season while being coached by his father.
• Had 340 tackles with 19.5 for loss in 33 career games.
• Recorded 96 tackles as a sophomore, had 129 as a junior and ended his career with 103 stops.
• Best single-game performance came against Rocklin HS where he had 22 tackles as a junior.
• Also played basketball, baseball and tennis for the Miners.

• Majoring in business.
• Parents are Dennis and Stacey Houlihan.
• Dad played football and tennis and mom played softball and basketball at LaVerne.
