Sacramento State

2024 Season
• Played in all 33 matches, including 124 of a possible 127 sets
• Helped quarterback a Sacramento State offense that finished first in the Big Sky in assists (12.13 per set), second in kills (13.23 per set) and third in hitting percentage (.232).
• Ran a 6-2 offense with fellow setter Kate Doorn.
• Finished with averages of 3.92 assists and 1.20 digs per set.
• Had a double-double (17 ast, 10 digs) at Montana State.
• Season-high 24 assists vs. San Francisco.
• Finished Sacramento State career with 1,179 assists.
• A Big Sky all-academic selection for the second straight season.

2023 Season
• Appeared in all 34 matches, and all 130 sets.
• Started 15 matches.
• Ran a 6-2 offense with fellow setter Kate Doorn all season.
• Helped quarterback the Big Sky’s top offense - the Hornets averaged 13.35 kills per set with a .243 hitting percentage overall, and 14.18 kills per set and a .268 hitting percentage in conference play.
• Averaged 5.33 assists, 1.72 digs and 0.22 aces per set.
• Ranked ninth in the Big Sky in assists.
• Named all-tournament at the Hornet Invitational.
• Third on the team with five double-doubles.
• Registered 30 assists on three occasions.
• Posted double-figure assists in all 34 matches, and double figures digs on five occasions.
• A Big Sky all-academic selection.

Prior to Sacramento State
• Played the past three seasons (2020-22) at Wichita State of the American Athletic Conference. The 2020 season was shortened and played during the spring of 2021 because of the pandemic.
• Helped the Shockers to a combined 37-23 overall record, and 26-13 in the American over the last two years. That included an appearance in the NIVC this past fall.
• Was the back-up to all-conference setter Kayce Litzau during each of her three seasons.
• In 10 career matches (14 sets), Plugge averaged 3.00 assists and 1.21 digs per set.
• Last season, she played in six matches, registering 23 assists and four digs.
• Had a season-high six assists against nationally ranked Houston.
• An American all-academic selection and AD Honor Roll recipient in 2021.

High School
• A 2020 graduate of Frontier High School in Bakersfield, Calif.
• Frontier High School's Female Athlete of the Year as a senior, and selected to play in the District All Star Volleyball Game.
• Three-year starter, and two-time team captain.
• A three-year all-league selection, two-time all-area and the league's Offensive Rookie of the Year.
• Finished high school career with 1,552 assists, 511 digs, 356 kills and a .357 hitting percentage.
• Also competed in track and field her final three years of high school, and ranks in Frontier's top four all-time in both the 100 and 200.
• Finished high school with a 4.5 grade point average.

Personal
• A biology major who will graduate in the spring of 2025.
• Both mother (Jenny Plugge - softball) and father (Matthew Plugge - baseball) were Div. I athletes at Loyola Marymount. Aunt, Tracy Ayres, played volleyball at Pacific.
