2016 Season: Saw action in the final two games of the year…threw one pass against Portland State and was 1-for-4 at UC Davis…missed the majority of the season while recovering from a shoulder injury.

2015 Season: Was the team's starting quarterback in the first four games before injuring his shoulder…completed 73-of-137 passes for 823 yards, four touchdowns and five interceptions…most efficient performance came in the season opener against Eastern Oregon where he was 22-of-34 for 272 yards and two touchdowns and also rushed for 20 yards and a TD…finished the season with 48 rushing yards on 15 attempts.

2014 Season: Appeared in all 12 games as the team's holder on field goals and extra points and played in five games as a backup quarterback…completed 15-of-22 passes for 146 yards during the season…was 7-of-10 for 75 yards against Menlo…also went 5-of-8 for 35 yards at Cal…rushed for six yards on two carries.

2013 Season: Redshirted during the season.

High School: Graduated from Rocklin HS in 2013…played quarterback and wide receiver for the Thunder where he earned first team all-Sierra Foothill League honors…as a senior, he made four starts at quarterback, throwing for 657 yards and four touchdowns…also rushed 21 times for 95 yards and a score and caught 18 passes for 289 yards and three touchdowns…passed for 1,255 yards and 12 touchdowns and rush for 42 yards as a junior.

Personal: Has yet to declare a major…parents are Calvin and Ingrid Kniffin.
