Biography

2010 Season: Played in the first two games of the season before being sidelined by a concussion for the remainder of the season…had 12 carries for 30 yards and a touchdown at Stanford…carried the ball five times for 24 yards against Western Oregon…also caught three passes for 59 yards in the two games…made two tackles on special teams.

Prior to Sacramento State: Spent three years at Washington, playing in 2007 and 2009 and redshirting in 2008…in 2009, he played in 10 of the Huskies’ 12 games (all but UCLA and Oregon State) as a reserve tailback and as a regular on special teams...carried the ball five times for 19 yards in the win over Idaho...had two carries for 10 yards in the victory against Washington State...had a 25-yard kickoff return vs. Idaho…was one of seven true freshmen to see action during the 2007 season...spent the first part of the season at tailback before moving to wide receiver in the latter stages of the year…in his first game at wide receiver at Oregon State, he caught four passes for 46 yards…also spent some time as a kick returner.

High School: A 2007 graduate of Lincoln HS in Stockton, Calif…finished his senior season with 1,633 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns…rushed for 245 yards and five touchdowns on 15 carries in an opening-round sectional playoff win over Golden Valley…rushed for 200 yards three times as a senior…earned all-area honors from the Stockton Record as well as being named all-Sac-Joaquin Section…earned a spot on the Cal Hi Sports all-state third team…named Long Beach Press-Telegram’s “Best in the West” honorable mention as the No. 27 vote-getter on the list…named to the “Western 100” by the Tacoma News-Tribune…as a junior, he rushed for 1,653 yard and 21 touchdowns when the Trojans made it to the first round of the section playoffs…also a standout on the track team at Lincoln...qualified for the CIF state championships as a senior in the 100 and 200-meters with senior season best times of 10.54 and 21.30, respectively…100-meter time was the third-best in the state of California and the 200-meter time was fifth…listed as the No. 4 running back recruit in California and No. 23 running back in the nation by Rivals…rated as the No. 39 running back recruit in the country and No. 51 player in California by Scout…a PrepStar all-region selection.
