High School: A 2018 graduate of Cathedral HS in Los Angeles…was a two-star recruit by 247 Sports…named all-Angelus League as a junior and senior…earned second team all-Southern Section honors in as a senior after catching 19 passes for 200 yards and three touchdowns…averaged 10.5 yards per reception…had a season-long catch of 35 yards against Harvard-Westlake HS…as a junior, he had 359 receiving yards and two scores on 24 grabs…recorded five receptions for 101 yards against St. Paul HS…team won three league titles in his career…also competed in track and field and was part of the 4x400 relay team which set the school record.

Personal: Majoring in criminal justice…parents are Lawrence and Selina Payne…twin brother, Colin, is also a member of the team.
