Sacramento State

Jake Cruz returns for his second season as an offensive assistant at Sacramento State. Cruz worked with the team’s quarterbacks in 2025 and will move to running backs in 2026.

Cruz began his collegiate playing career at Angelo State before finishing at Seton Hill. As a senior in 2024, he threw for 2,068 yards and 11 touchdowns for the Griffins.

The Capital Christian HS graduate is a native of Northern California. He graduated from Seton Hill in 2025 with a bachelor’s in sports communication.
