Chris Womack joined the Sacramento State as an offensive intern during the spring of 2021.
Womack most recently was a quality control coach at Eastern Kentuck from Feb. 2020 until coming to the Hornets. With the Colonels, he worked primarily with the team's quarterbacks. During the 2020 season, EKU had three QBs attempt at least 60 passes during the year and all three started at least one game. As a whole, the team completed 60.3 percent of its pass attempts while throwig for 2,227 yards with 17 touchdowns in nine games.
Womack as the quarterbacks coach at Trinity International University in Deerfield, Ill., from Apr. 2019-Feb. 2020. He also coached at Greenville University as volunteer, ndergraduate and graduate assistant from Feb. 2017-Apr. 2019. Womack graduated from Greenville with a bachelor's degree in history and political science in 2017.
