Sacramento State

Carl Joseph joined the Sacramento State staff as a defensive quality control coach in the spring of 2026. Joseph works with the team’s defensive line.

During the 2025 season, Joseph was the defensive ends coach at Garden City CC in Kansas. With the team, he coached two all-conference players and had three ends sing with NCAA Div. I programs.

Joseph was a graduate assistant at Texas A&M-Kingsville during the 2024 and 2025 season. He began his coaching career at Curry College in Massachusetts in 2022. 

Joseph graduated from Curry College, where he was a three-year starter, with a degree in public heath and wellness in May 2023. He added a master’s in education from Texas A&M-Kingsville in 2025.
