• Spent three seasons at Washington.
• Redshirted in 2019, received a COVID relief year in 2020 and did not appear in a game in 2021.

High School

• A 2019 graduate of Saugus HS.
• Played tight end and defensive end.
• Helped lead the Centurions to an 8-4 overall record and the second round of the CIF Southern Section Division 4 playoffs as a senior.
• Named to the all-CIF Southern Section Division 4 first team at defensive end as a senior.
• Was also first-team all-Santa Clarita Valley at DE.
• Led his team and was second in his league with nine sacks.
• Had 42 tackles and a team-high 12 tackles for loss as a senior.
• As a junior, helped Saugus reach the semifinals of the CIF-SS Division 6 playoffs.
• Also long jumped on the track team.
• Played football for coach Jason Bornn.

Personal

• Majoring in sociology.
• Parents are Steve and Jessica Smith.
• Dad played strong safety for the Hornets from 1989-93 and was a second team all-Western Football Conference selection as a senior.
