Sacramento State

SENIOR (2024): One of two Hornets to start all 18 matches on the year along with goalkeeper Mac Learned… Played in 1,477 minutes — the most of any field player… Finished with 10 shot attempts on the season, including a season-high three (two on frame) in a win at Saint Mary’s (9/15)… Went the distance in 12 of the team’s 18 matches, including seven straight from Aug. 25-Sept. 22.

JUNIOR (2023): Started 16 of the team’s 18 matches… Finished with a pair of goals — both off Genaro Alfaro corner kicks — to stake the Hornets to an early 2-0 lead at Pacific (Sept. 7)… Attempted 16 shots on the year, including four against the Tigers and three in matches at Portland (Aug. 25) and Gonzaga (Aug. 27)… Played a full 90 minutes in eight straight matches from Sept. 17-Oct. 14.

SOPHOMORE (2022): Appeared in 10 matches, making five starts on the year… Scored goals in back-to-back matches at Cal State Fullerton on Oct. 22 and against UC Davis on Oct. 29… His goal against the Titans was the first of his career and came with 14 seconds remaining in regulations to beat Fullerton, 1-0, on the road… Took single shots in five different matches… Played all 90 minutes against UC Riverside on Oct. 15, at Cal Poly on Oct. 19, and at Fullerton.

FRESHMAN (2021): Appeared in 11 of Sacramento State's 18 matches in his Hornets debut season, all in reserve... Made his Hornets debut in the team's season opener, Aug. 26 at San Francisco, playing a season-high 45 minutes in that match... Attempted three shots, placing one of them on goal... His lone shot on goal came on the road at UC Santa Barbara on Oct. 20... Played double-digit minutes in nine of his 11 games and 20 or more minutes three times... Averaged 16.3 minutes and played 179 minutes total.

FRESHMAN (2020): Season canceled due to COVID-19.

NATOMAS HS
Played three varsity seasons for the Nighthawks in Sacramento under head coach Geo Villalobos... Helped lead his team to a CIF state championship in 2019-20... Played in 22 games in 2019, scoring 22 goals and adding 10 assists... Was named All-Golden Empire League.

CLUB 
Played one season for the San Diego Nomads, spending time at both the center back and striker positions...Played in 12 games, scoring six goals and adding three assists.

PERSONAL
Parents are Luis Gutierrez and Maria Jimenez... Plans to pursue professional soccer... Also played varsity football and ran track for Natomas HS.
