HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of varsity for the Mesa HS Marauders in San Diego, Calif. under head coach Haseen Williams...Was a two-year captain...Had an excellent senior season after which she was named to the all-Western League team and the Mauraders MVP...Averaged a double-double with 12.7 points and 10.1 rebounds as a senior...Throughout high school, was also a member of San Diego's Elite Basketball Organization (2010-2019), playing multiple positions under head coach Marlon Wells.

PERSONAL: Parents are Jessica Simas Puaina and Ave Puania...Majoring in Business Administration - Marketing with goals of owning her own business after a career in basketball...In addition to basketball, is a talented painter and writer.
